    O Hare repair

Anyone know the latest on COH? From MR's comments a few weeks ago I was thinking he could be back in early October. That could be only a couple more games.

    Fixtures wise we're fucked

It won't be a miracle, but I have seen situations like this before over the years, where teams deemed too good to go down have been relegated. Sometimes it just seems like everything that can go wrong does go wrong. At the moment it feels like that to me. Hopefully things will change in our...

Not too worried ATM. Some of the uncertainty has gone away with the window closing. We screwed up 2 of our 4 games, we never do any good against Preston. When O'Hare comes back we should have a team as good as last season. The longer we don't play our games in hand the longer we have a...

Dom Hyam - Blackburn bid ?

Just going on this comment under te heading; Why are Sisu said to be prepared to sell the club? https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/simon-jordan-coventry-city-takeover-24780126 Reported in the Times. Maybe I have misunderstood. wouldn't be the first time

Dom Hyam - Blackburn bid ?

I think Sisu are getting all the money they can as a precursor to selling the club. What's the point of selling a player with payments over 3 years if you are not going to be here? They have openly stated that they want out. O'Hare didn't go to Burnley because there was not enough offered up...

Dom Hyam - Blackburn bid ?

I assume the reference to Thursday is just that the window closes then, not anything more dramatic

Dom Hyam - Blackburn bid ?

Or it could be that Sisu won't be here to benefit from future payments?

    O'Hare bids

6 to 7 weeks would, ironically take us to around the Burnley game on 8th October. That would leave 9 games before the WC break. Considering he was forecast to be out until after the world cup, that would not be too bad.

It's not too bad when you are up there, it's going up the spiral ladder around the outside that's a bit nerve-racking if you don't like heights

    Depressing as fook!!!

We don't really have reserves, as we have very limited storage capacity, we hold enough gas typically for 4 or 5 winter days. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2021/sep/24/how-uk-energy-policies-have-left-britain-exposed-to-winter-gas-price-hikes

    Depressing as fook!!!

It's compicated, part of the reason is the competition for gas globally due to re-emergence of industry post COVID, but by far the biggest reason is Russia, not just their policy on supply, but the desire of some countries to wean themselves of dependency on Russian gas. If you know of any...
