    Robins

A unsung hero with what work he's done in little time over the summer. Hopefully this summer we will get bigger benefit of him having a year in the role.

I'm gonna rock the boat here... that was all he did, and did it well but his positional play was awful. I get he was playing in a different position and asked to do a job but his man was left with the freedom of the city. He was never near him. Going forward he offered a outlet which was...

    Robins

It's due to the simple decision to move both Bigi and Rose on is why the defensive aspect of our game is so good, keep them on in L2 and well... I dread to think That was a no brainier, Rose and Bigi or Doyle and Kelly. Aside from that I like MR, CCFC and him seem a good fit. A few times you...

    Robins after Craig Davies

Anyone actually looked at his records? At first glance there hit and miss, not great reading at all. Had some good spells at clubs others it's looking like it's not worked. However look into it and it's quite good, at clubs he's not appeared to have scored many at he's been used as a sub...

I do too but you cannot drop either Willis or Davies at the minute. Both are playing there part and adding qualities to the side. There was a lot of aimless lumping of the ball forwards today from many a player out of desperation more than anything. I'm a fan of Mcdonald but he's just gotta...

Burge or O'Brien, who's in goal today?

Yeah I do recall one scramble in the second half when he saves with his chest or face... was a good block. I stood and applauded that! Might have been a save too. Them reaction moments he does well at. Hopefully the extended highlights will show this. Second scramble with the footage shown...

Didn't understand why Robins didn't make more than 1 sub, Bayliss was off the pace the second half yet preferred him to Stevenson. Doesn't say a lot for him. Kept the faith with Davies too when they brought Marc Richards on with Davies on a yellow. Davies was very disciplined the second half...

Burge or O'Brien, who's in goal today?

Not his best game yesterday, reminiscent of last seasons Lee Burge. He made a few positive contributions but largely responsible for his own issues. Positives, great save in the first half to tip a stinging shot into the bar, kicked the back straight for Biamou to create his own masterpiece...

Reading through I think many have been out for dinner with Andy Turner last night.... some inflated ratings for sure in what was a I'd call a season leveller. It wasn't our best game by a long shot but finally we were clinical with our chances and rocked Swindon who another day would of won...

Well as warm ups go that's on par with Accrington! Not a good sign.

Burge or O'Brien, who's in goal today?

From what I've seen of him I'd dispute he's awful, he made 2 huge errors for sure. Burge has benefited from a run of games where he too faced minimal shots of any some games tho played in a settled side. Tho all 4 errors two of which are identical are there own errors not the side. Anyway...

Burge or O'Brien, who's in goal today?

Is he tho? Is he worse than Burge? We've not seen enough of him or seen him on the training ground. It's not a great endorsement to compare identical errors I agree.

Burge or O'Brien, who's in goal today?

The point on that is Burge has no right to get to the ball and the very presence of him was enough to confuse Jordan Willis who had it covered and then lost sight of the ball as Burge came. Burge applied the brakes tho and didn't deal with it well enough.

Burge or O'Brien, who's in goal today?

I know the response want to me but I think we're getting sidetracked onto the mistakes made argument. That's another conversation completely. That's been and done now, it's all about the confidence of the individual. We've all seen what a confidence shot Lee Burge can do.

Burge or O'Brien, who's in goal today?

From my point of view the question needs to be asked as to what damage it's done to his confidence. A huge 6 pointer before a break from the league is a vital game to go into. The defence needs absolute confidence in his keeper behind, and a manager needs his keeper to make the right decisive...

Match Thread Coventry City - Swindon Town Match Thread - Saturday 20th Jan

Some good calls. Firstly I think Biamou is vital to the way we're gonna play tho he needs a rest for sure. I don't fancy the pitch to play the way we need it to if you take him out. Secondly the back pair. I like Mcdonald, he's classy in the way he goes about his business but Willis has been...

    Robins after Craig Davies

Be interesting if Robins pulls this one off. Interesting that he struck up quite a partnership this season with Russell Slades top target last January in Eion Doyle who opted to join Portsmouth on loan instead.
