Back 4 is very defensive, nothing progressive in it to bring it out

Yeah I appreciate what your saying. Frustrating to say the least. I wonder how much the expectation weighs on the squad this season. Back to the non league manager progression there is a few that have further adapted there games and tactics to go beyond L2. You've the old school approach of...

I see where your coming from but for me it only works to a degree up to League 2, that approach then hits a ceiling at that point I believe. The Crowley brothers are the latest example of managers coming up from non league roots and industrious approach with Lincoln. John Coleman had...

Totally agree, plenty were worse out there Saturday. A victim of the role his manager asks him to play.

I think if I remember JMD was a player who they had eyes on in the summer so a lot of homework had been done on him already so was a easy option I'd guess but he'd had a injury while on loan at Lincoln which he'd all but recovered from prior to joining us. Barrett had a illness which wiped him...

Shall we settle for not captain material? I was disappointed with him all last season as a captain. For me he's the 1st head to drop when I look around the pitch after we concede when the inquest starts. Stokes is always making positive gestures to motive, Rod less so recently. Liam Kelly...

    Who's good enough IF......

We may of been better equipped to do good business in January if we'd of been getting more fans through the turnstiles at the Ricoh. We're not so did the business we did which looks worse by the game

At last someone else notices it too! Jordan Willis isn't strong enough as a person to be captain. It weighs to heavy on him and affects his own game. The arm band cut his circulation and he's erratic. He's better when he's just his own game to worry about.

I raised this issue very early in the season. We had no one who can deliver a good set piece.. I.e free kicks and corners. We still don't, it's a big aspect of goals in this league. Kelly and JJ were responsible early on and then it went more towards JJ. Things were really bad then. Shipley...

What needs to be done for Colchester?

I don't think he cocked up at all. If Nazon played for the team in all his games and stuck to the tasks set he'd of played more. Nazon is solely out this season to make a name for himself, he's doing that just with his goals to raise his profile at wolves. Did it in L2 briefly, lost his way...

Well yes it's all for consideration, but I think they are more for the end of season post-mortem.

What needs to be done for Colchester?

Anyone notice a traditional kick off Accrington did Saturday. 2 players kicked off as opposed to our diagonal ball. Rare to see now

A realist in this time of gloom

Yes the injury list is really biting now and a virus thrown in really makes life harder. It's not a case of regrouping and digesting what went wrong were also shuffling the pack around also. 5 changes were made Saturday. We're missing Doyle now who is instrumental around the pitch, Jack...

We've lost back to back league games just 3 times this season they were... 1st back to back defeat v Newport (0-1) and then Yeovil (0-2) in August we then drew 0-0 at Chesterfield The 2nd we was beaten by Accrington (1-0) and Forest Green(0-1) in October, we then drew 0-0 v Colchester 3rd...

I've left him out as he should never of played Saturday after the weight loss MR said about. Yes he's the one most likely to score if at all but at a huge risk of injury. Yes we need points but lose him to a hamstring or calf strain and it's curtains for sure. JCH is strong and powerful and...
