    Today's Highlights

What on earth was Burge doing - massively poor decision - absolutely no need to come out.

    LGBTQ City Fans

Is that what gay people say then...really ? Also it's the club that has set the group up, so why have a dig at gay fans ?

    Chesterfield sold

Sadly you can't use logic and sound reasoning when SISU are involved

    Juergen Turdbull

Did we sell him to the team JH invested in ie did we actually get the money ?

    Fa Cup Draw Thread

In our current predicament, big money should be the target, to bring in better players in January.

JH and Garry Thompson - 1981

Like Hateley via tribunal £180Kish to Portsmouth...year later sold to Milan for £1m..a large sum then

JH and Garry Thompson - 1981

Fair enough...i was only 11 at the time and i had no memory of that Thompson story. Soccer USA and the connexion i do remember, as well as the bizarre Coventry Talbot story...i mean advertising on football shirts - never happen lol

JH and Garry Thompson - 1981

...and the story came out 36 years later :nailbiting:

JH and Garry Thompson - 1981

Legendary Coventry City chief’s astonishing threat to star striker JH's investment in US soccer was a very poor decision, but i didn't realise things were THAT bad at the time, and that JH was quite so ruthless.

    Coleman at Sunderland

Coleman must have a massively high opinion of himself. Moyes admitted it was a big error to take on Sunderland, and he is an infinitely better manager than Coleman. I suppose he thinks Wales success was down to him and not Bale, Ramsey, Robson-Kanu, joe allen etc

    Dale Evans .......

As Fernandopartridge says : SISU are not the club but SISU has ultimate control over what the club does :mooning:

    Dale Evans .......

No. It's CCFC and Otium that are essentially the same.

    I can't say too much ..

Hmmm...Coleman will likely be available soon...oh please, the irony :)

    PONTICELLI

Sounds like he was sold a pup. Maybe he should have jumped and gone to Huddersfield, or maybe have quit in protest, and been honest with the fans at the time, who would presumably have had some sympathy for him. As it is, he is almost unemployable...he chose poorly.

    Appeal granted

You know what...that's not something i would put past the inappropriately named Joy. A very scary thought

First Ever Cov Match You Saw ?

Wow...no one i've mentioned it to in the past, remembers it. Thanks...i'm not going mad...i did happen lol It was a night game i think...just remember how green the pitch was under the floodlights

First Ever Cov Match You Saw ?

1977...pre season friendly against a japanese side i think - no idea who ? Fab experience though, and fan ever since.

    Chris Stokes' Post Match Interview

A good positive attitude, from a good pro...unlike Turnbull, who ran off when things got tough. I cant see him ever playing for MR again...no fight in him. Like a few others at the time, i criticised the original signing of Stokes...glad i was wrong

    Court Match Thread

I wonder if he regrets being the cheerleader for the losing side...on court battles that is. When SISU are gone, who will give him his exclusives ?

    Court Match Thread

Strangely no report of the SISU court 'battering' on Coventry Observer yet...is Les Reid on holiday or awaiting instructions ?
