A strange argument- if he had £10m he wouldn’t spend it on one player, he’d buy a few. Which is the point being made- he wouldn’t turn down money but it’s highly unlikely he’d spend it all on one player just for “name value”

When was the last time we sold 10,000 season tickets? Your comment ignores our history, we have no history whatever of high season ticket sales. You could say that about any number of other clubs and be right, we however have never been big on season tickets though.

That wasn’t what I was referring to, don’t twist words around. I was referring to the idea we should get a “marquee signing” in. I’d suggest that if Robins was given a lump sum he’d strengthen in more than one area instead of just trying to land a big name
