More false Coventry council claims exposed over Ricoh Wasps deal-Les Reid

It was the "Private Eye" are Sisu stooges type comments that got to me.

It was the use of condescending by him that made me laugh.

Not overly keen on franchise sport! To be fair, with work wouldn't have got to see City much if we'd been at The Ricoh anyway, so not much of a "stand" if wouldn't have seen them anyway.

Any health studies done on ......

We might be actually better off haelth wise by not having all the ups and downs and swings in mood that we used to have. Possibly a constant mood, even if miserable better than moving between lows and highs and back again. Fucked If I know, I'm not a psychologist, though If I was this site...

That's nowt, I was called a condescending c**t by MMM. If that isn't ironic, I really don't understand the meaning of the word.

Closest Ryanair nowadays from those places is to Stansted, Aer Lingus only from Cork to BHX, not SNN, still plenty of seats on that one. They may have brought a few more over if at Wycombe to be fair, make a weekend of it in London. Suppose they could always do Jumping Jaks.

The whole deal is very similar, except of course CCC and local taxpayers are now at risk of losing the money loaned to ACL if anything goes wrong, rather than a hedge-fund. I really thought that subsidising private loss making companies wasn't part of a local authorities remit, particularly one...

Somebody else who can't read. I wasn't the "legal expert" who said it, bigfatron was. However he's now disagreeing with his own "expert" legal opinion as it doesn't now fit the narrative. Sisu are cunts, should never have been involved with the club at all, but absolving any others of any...

It is exactly what they proposed to do, either all or 50%, whichever the council wanted. CCC then decided to do it themselves, thus taking all risk on the mortgage. Understandable a little when they had a stake in the company, not at all now.

Especially as I quoted him back to himself in my very first response to this thread. Not my fault he doesn't remember what he says, then argues with himself that he's a bit of a twat and doesn't understand himself.

That is the whole point, Anne Lucas(and many on here), said that ACL was very profitable without the club, when it was evident to anybody that it wasn't, or wouldn't be. This is all based on figures after the more "affordable" loan was in place and the season that Cov weren't playing at the Ricoh.
