City fans not as friendly at Brentford as at Sixfields?

An excellent analysis of the move to Northampton :)

It’s time to say goodbye to Coventry City

That's OK if you're talking about people who don't go to Sixfields........ :)

Can't speak for anyone else - but I would.

    Nene Park

It's OK, there's no danger we'll move there. I'm pretty sure it's owned by Milan Council :)

Statement Issued By Sky Blue Trust

You mean when they tried to take on an opponent that they couldn't bully?????

    Best opposition player you've seen

Best, Banks and Moore were memorable, but the best individual performance I ever saw was Glen Hoddle on a frozen Highfield Road pitch where the "ordinary" players could hardly stand up, but he spent the afternoon spraying inch perfect passes about.

    Labovitch email

It's genuinely difficult not to be impressed at SISU's ability to find new and interesting ways to make them look even more incompetent.

    Neil White/Tom Lowe: City fans?

I agree with some of what you say, but on what we know, it already seems to be in SISU's best interests to accept the short term deal at the Ricoh while they build their new stadium (disbelief suspended....). This is a big part of the problem, we don't really know (or perhaps I should say...

    Neil White/Tom Lowe: City fans?

I don't think that it was ever going to change anything in the short term. I'm not sure why you say it has "proven totally ineffective in influencing the outcome" unless you believed that it would persuade SISU to move back to the Ricoh before the JR - which in my opinion, was never going to...

    Neil White/Tom Lowe: City fans?

I don't believe that SISU are not influenced by the loss of income. I also don't believe that the catastrophic (seems a fair word) loss of support won't have any impact on their plans for the future.

    Neil White/Tom Lowe: City fans?

True - and I did go to the Burton JPT game. Won't be going to Sixfields though.

    Sixfield attendees 2014/2015 Season

The classic way of valuing a business is that it is the sum of it's discounted expected future cash flows. So it depends what those expectations are. If the cash flows are expected to be lower without the lease, the value will be lower. If it is expected that other larger revenue...

    Favourite ever sky blue experience?

I'm pretty sure that Spurs away was a midweek game and was followed by (what I have now been reminded was) Wimbledon on the Saturday. As I recall John "the flying postman" Williams scored (possibly both?) at Spurs. We then played Spurs quite soon afterwards in what I think was our first...

    Sixfield attendees 2014/2015 Season

It's quite possible that SISU are trying to distress ACL and failing. In fact, given their track record in all things CCFC related, isn't that the most likely situation? :)

    Programmes and memorabilia

I've got a pretty full collection of programmes going back to the 60's - strangely none from this season :)

    Favourite ever sky blue experience?

Memory is fading a bit, but I thought we were top after winning the first 3 games. I remember the first game was at home to M'boro and then we won at Spurs. Can't remember who the third game was though.......

    Favourite ever sky blue experience?

The "Donkey Kick" goal game - beating the champions 3-1. Man City 3-2 when Colin Stein made his home debut and the great Tommy Hutch made his debut. Several games from 77/78, including Norwich (5-4), Chelsea (5-1), Man City (4-2) and the 1-0 win over Liverpool with 10 men, featuring one of the...

    Where does the fault lie

Without going over any of the usual debates, I'm not sure that we should be too surprised. On or two of the older posters on the site did post in the early heady days of the season that we should take a cautionary look back at Bobby Gould's first season in charge. Then a very inexperienced...
