    Feeling really fed up with...

"Our means" were chosen by our owners when they decided to relocate to Northampton.

    pictures of highfield road

I think a lot of it was also down to the memories. I can remember many great games at Highfield Road, watching players like Curtis, Mortimer, Carr, Hutchison, Ferguson & Wallace, Oggy, Peake, Regis, Dublin etc etc, but no really strong memories at the Ricoh. Probably partly down to age...

    NorthamptoN Sky Blues ?

I did actually say to my Dad after the game, that in a way it would be a pity that we'd only be there for one season, because it'd make a pleasant change winning all the time. "And would you like any salt and pepper to eat those words with Sir?"

    NorthamptoN Sky Blues ?

Do you mind.... I went to Wembley twice with Telford Utd. Interesting (well.....) story there - in 1970, the week before the FA Cup Final Telford wearing white lost to Macclesfield wearing blue. The following week, Chelsea beat Leeds (after a replay) In 1971, Telford wearing yellow shirts...

I'll ignore the irony of your comment. What straight question would you like me to answer? Eh?

    Match Off

The fact that concerns were raised previously does not excuse SISU's (in my view) staggeringly unprofessional behaviour. ACL offered to reduce the rent by 67%, before things turned "really nasty". There is a valid argument to say that that shows that the initial rent was way too high...

    Quieter On Here?

I think that it is worth a try. Our "exile" is always going to be in everyone's minds (one way or another), but it does get depressing when pretty much every thread descends into the same arguments.

    Match Off

I honestly believe that the way SISU went about attempting to "renegotiate" it, was staggeringly unprofessional. At the time, I posted of my concerns about the damage that it would do although I confess that I never expected things to go this far. As for the comparison with the charges for...

If you could ask SISU to stop payments on another legally binding contract, then I'm sure that something could be arranged. Eh?

Indeed not. In fact more brilliant forward planning by SISU that should raise our gratitude to even higher levels.

    What happened to Haskell?

Reminds me of a set of bullet points :)

    What happened to Haskell?

I'd have to say that I agree with the sentiment - just have a different view about the target :)

    Villa anyone?

It's probably even worse than that. They probably feel sorry for us these days.

    Villa anyone?

That is indeed true. My worry is that as it drags on, it'll become a harder job for the parents to stay interested.....

    Villa anyone?

In my view, a very good piece that highlights what this ridiculous exile is doing to our club. But I guess, as with everything in this saga, each person will view it according to their own preconceptions.

    An Arena 2000 Timeline

You bloody would, wouldn't you! I'd managed to drive that awful time out of my memory - and now it's back........

    Worst Games

That was a good day. I still believed we'd get back!

    One game this season

4 - Shrewsbury, Wolves, Walsall and MK Dons. Lowest ( by quite some number) since the 60's. The worrying thing is that I'm starting to get used to not going.
