    Jutkiewicz joins Burnley

Always liked Juke. I thought that selling him when we did was one of the more creative ways of writing a suicide note. Not sure if he'll make it in the top division, but wish him all the best.

Like most things the FL get involved in, this £590k seems less than clear.... It was surprising (to me at least) that the FL made the payment of the £590k a condition of the "golden share" being transferred to Otium. I'm not sure if this was because the owners of the ground were being treated...

Ann Lucas to speak about Ricoh and CCFC tomorrow

    You have to make allowances.......

Absolutely - That is why any decision other than coming back to the Ricoh makes no economic sense at all.

Owners of CCFC willing to hold talks over Ricoh return

Congratulations and good luck! Remember your bad back when you're chatting up the eighteen and nineteen year old students.........

History suggests that we should be sceptical, but at least it appears to be a step in the right direction.

Credit to the club (for a change)...

Be the first time we'd had a decent "enforcer" since Lloyd McGrath......

    Bunch of Hypocrites!

Poor attempt at wumming. Must try (much) harder.

I'm sure that I once read that it started in the 30's with the free scoring team that included Clarrie Bourton.

I'm afraid I can't remember that far back. How do we really appreciate it when things happen that are good? :)

    Development coach contract terminated

You can just imagine them standing there demanding "three senior" referees, to replace the one that "got the decision wrong"!

Do you think we've reached "the bottom of the business cycle" yet?

    CLUB STATEMENT - JR Verdict

Sounds very catchy to me. Perhaps that's why I was advised never to go into marketing :thinking about:

    CLUB STATEMENT - JR Verdict

Bluntly, there will always be wriggle room - because "the devil is in the detail". However as Duffer says, negotiation has to be done in good faith from both sides. Let's hope that can happen.

    CLUB STATEMENT - JR Verdict

I posed the question simply because some seem to assume that the answer is "No". I think that ACL's viability must be impacted by the loss of the club, but to assume that this means that the business is unviable, seems little more than a guess. As for the comparison with the viability of CCFC...

    CLUB STATEMENT - JR Verdict

Back to one of the key questions here. Is ACL viable without the football club in residence?

    CLUB STATEMENT - JR Verdict

Trying to be the optimist..... Perhaps they could take the view that if the club comes back on a short term deal, it gives the opportunity to rebuild relationships and perhaps try things without the "hardball" tactics? Perhaps they could take the view that if the club comes back on a short...

    CLUB STATEMENT - JR Verdict

I had the same thought. Does ruling out a "long term return" suggest that they may be open to a "short term return". It's always seemed the most sensible option if both sides can put the bad blood of the past behind them. I know that's quite a big "if", but let's hope.....

Mk Dons game will be the Barometer

I've no idea what SISU would do if this situation arose, but if they were to decide to charge the club an "extortionate rent" this would be a nil sum game for them, as one of their companies (the club) would be paying it and another (the property owning non-trading subsidiary :)) receiving it...
