    Messi/Suarez penalty

It wasn't ungentlemanly conduct - they ruled that Willie Carr had touched the ball twice (I presume the rationale was that he was touching it with both feet) before Ernie Hunt shot. Debateable, as there were not two separate touches at different times, but that was what they decided.

    Aaron Martin

But better than the "Bloody hell, who's fit to play centre back" decisions of recent weeks!

    Fa cup

Must confess that I'm increasingly coming round to that view . Once they've completed killing off the FA Cup, how long before they do away with relegation?

    Bury match thread

It started with me being very cool and telling him how he was my hero (other than Hutch) all those years ago. He then told me the story of how he got his bubble perm, which he claimed came as a surprise to him! Seemed a really nice guy. Saw him interviewed later where he said that the team...

Hi Rev. Agree with you about JC, but not JM. I thought that Murphy played very well in the first half - noticeable that the player who was marking him was substituted at half time!!!! Anyway, the day of a 6-0 win isn't a day to fall out - particularly when I got to have two conversations with...

    Mean while back in court

A number of intemperate statements were made by "both sides" during this fiasco. My personal favourite was Mr Fisher when he was asked on CWR when we'd go back to the Ricoh and he replied "When they give us our 10 points back". I'm still impressed with my self control in not hurling my coffee...

    shrewsbury away

I'm hoping that mine will get used by other members of the family. I think we'll still fill the away end - we certainly will if we start to win the odd game.......

    shrewsbury away

On the day it was due to be played it would have been a 20 minute drive for me. On the day it's been rearranged for, it'd be a 4 hour flight - and a probable divorce!

I could have guaranteed that it'd be that week, as I'll be sunning myself on holiday!

Yes, that's a perfectly valid comparison. After all their contributions to our season must be pretty much exactly the same.

A share of balanced criticism would be fair enough. Some of the comments on here have been ridiculous.
