    Administration History

The club have been a paying tenant since 2004, £1.3 m for ten years = £13m total. With no benefit of ownership despite being the prime mover of the joint venture and prime provider of income for the venture. Last year negotiations ground to a halt so they went on rent strike, never-the-less...

    Administration History

We won't come out of admin without SISU! but we do have every prospect of coming out of admin without the millstone of the £1.3m rent! In my book that definitely counts as coming out of this mess better off! Many on here seem more concerned about ACL's prospects than they are of the football...

    Fisher rejects Hoffman offer

I agree with you I don't think they want to move out at all - they have been forced out to fulfill the fixtures! But I don't think that they are interested in geting ACL's interest in the Arena (any more). ACL don't own the freehold of the Arena, they only have 45 years remaining of a 50 year...

    Fisher rejects Hoffman offer

The temporary groundshare was necessary because time ran out. I am sure SISU were a willing buyer for the arena and would have paid a substatial price for it (say £50m) - (original cost less Tesco land sale less grants) rather than build a new stadium. But the council would not sell it! :pimp:

    Fisher rejects Hoffman offer

Yes you are right, there does seem to be an element of cost involved. But I don't think it's just that. There have been posts on here saying "what would you do if you were the owner?" That implicitly implies "If you were the owner you would expect to be able to make your own choice over what to...

    London Supporters Club Chairman Resigns

I notice now that the statement was signed by the deputy. It demonstrates that he did not accept that starving the club will help! http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/33406-An-e-mail-from-CCLSC?p=485043&viewfull=1#post485043 :pimp:

    Player Strike!

Yeh I know where your heart is! I am still hopeful they might see sense! (as I see it they have only captured the Church - but the Church can move!) :pimp:

can somebody clear up a genuine question?

The dispute is really between the Council and the football club. Although it was a joint venture the council wound up with the freehold of the whole development. ACL is only a management company set up to run the arena for the council & the football club. ACL was originally meant to be in the...

    Player Strike!

Way off Torchy! I was looking for the "dis-like" button! the supporters withdrawing support (NOPM) would convict us to a slow death or at least injure us severely. the players not playing would kill us immediately, by failing to fulfill fixtures we would face immediate expulsion from the...

can somebody clear up a genuine question?

Yes that is true. ACL have offered to let CCFC Ltd play at the Arena (at cost only) - but only while CCFC Ltd is still in administration. Since CCFC Ltd and the administrator expect to be out of administration shortly, that offer is seen as somewhat hollow. So there is currently no deal on the...

Maton says it would be good to have facilitator!

Les Reid ‏@Lesreidpolitics 2h ..3/3 @cllr_KevinMaton. I'm certainly no Sisu apologist, but 2 sides in this.Wrong for Ricoh/ACL to make out "doors" always been "wide open" Expand Cllr. Kevin Maton ‏@Cllr_KevinMaton 1h @Lesreidpolitics It would be good if it was possible to have facilitator &...

    here comes fisher

Dead right! the Northampton Chariman today said there are ways out of the deal (4mins in here), the only people that can make this happen is ACL/CCC. They have to put a realistic proposal on the table! They cannot delay it by refusing the CVA that would only lead to Liquidation with us...

    here comes fisher

Some time ago when the trust was reforming I spent some time reading the Supporters direct literature. Apparently there is existing legislation available to give community asset status to facilities such as football stadiums. I understand the aim and benefit of that is to give community bodies...

Wake up supporters - you are being conned!

I can give a ray of hope! We don't need new owners, we need new fans! The ACL lovers on here are in the wrong place - this is a CCFC forum and all they do is support ACL! Piss off and get your own forum! Call it NOPM!:o :pimp:

    Arena Rent

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/coventry-city-planning-build-highfield-4003689 As talks have broken down over a lower rent and joint ownership at the Ricoh, it is understood Coventry City (Holdings) Ltd want to base their plans on Rotherham United’s new 12,000-seat...

    Arena Rent

The team were actually doing very well last year despite a stuttering start and we still had a good chance of reaching the playoffs until Leon Clarke dropped out. I am sure that the administration would have been averted if Clarke had remained fit and we still had that chance of the playoffs...

    Arena Rent

Yes it is pretty Lame! - But that is all we get! Not really worth £1.5m is it! We were locked out at the Olympics, when ACL made a killing at our expense! and we have never been let back in! It has never been our Home! It has no atmosphere! and It is currently WAY too big for our needs...
