Match Thread Shrewsbury Town vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Dec

It feels like we’re in a relegation battle now. It would be nice if the players acted like they were in a battle

Can’t believe I’m saying this but I think Bayliss needs a rest

Brown has also worked hard but apart from those two it’s been awful.

Our balls into the box have been embarrassingly dire all game

    From the Boardroom (Luton)

A secure tenancy. But also a shit tenancy from a CCFC perspective. Not that I'm advocating what Sisu did next, but it really pisses me off when the council are not held to account for their (massive) role in this shitstorm

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Luton Town Match Thread - Saturday 15th Dec

One of the most dispiriting aspects of today is that the defence also look ropey. You know it’s a stinker when you’re losing 2-0 and you just want it to end rather than thinking seriously about pulling one back

Match Thread Walsall vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 8th Dec

Burge had a poor game and that was a calamitous error. But I'm staggered at the way people have turned on him. He's been one of our best players this season.

    Open Letter to Supporters

There's been a fair few comments deriding the numbers of our home support. Yes, 10,000 doesn't seem very impressive for a city of 330,000, but I think we need a bit of context here. One MAJOR trophy since promotion to the top flight in 67. Perennial struggles in the top division for 34 years...

Definitely. I'd still like to have someone as experienced as Doyle on the bench. Great to bring him in on when you need a bit of leadership and tenacity in the final stages. Hope Robins has the balls to make the change...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Accrington Stanley Match Thread - Saturday 3rd Nov

Blimey. I thought Doyle was a liability (not including the equaliser but including their goal). Ogogo on the other hand was just average. But I believe he'll come good with fitness and a decent run in the team. Doyle has been great for us since he rejoined. He is tenacious. He can sometimes...

Definitely. And the fact is he was at least partly culpable for the Accrington goal

Hasn’t that happened a few times now this season? I appreciate the role he’s played since rejoining but I don’t think he should start. Time to give Ogogo+Baylis combo a chance

Yep. Hiwulas not had a great game. Chaplin has looked stronger as the game has gone on. Good to see Brown looking threatening - at the right end!

No wonder we feel so happy at the moment...

A lot of people have mentioned it's three years since we won 4 on the bounce. The last time we were this high in the league was on the last day of that anti-climactic 2015-16 season. I'd almost forgotten quite how bad 2016-17 was. Highest league position all season? 17th...after losing against...

    Fa Cup draw

It is a pity, but I don't think that's a unique attribute of City fans. I think most 3rd/4th tier clubs would get a heck of a lot more turning up for a premiership team as opposed to Maidenhead.

    CCFC New Statement.

Can't argue with that either. But my point is the hedge fund in question are not Coventry City - a football team representing the city for about 125 years before these shysters turned up to 'rescue' us. I'd like to say that CCFC will be around long after SISU have crawled away. But I'm not quite...
