    Interesting article of Trevor Francis

"Only two clubs had pockets deep enough to match Birmingham’s asking price: Forest and Coventry City." Now we don't have pockets. Or trousers

Really don't get the negativity for Burge. Sure, he drops the odd clanger but he's a League 1 keeper. He pulled off a fabulous save yesterday. There are much bigger disappointments in the squad than him. Although I'll admit his distribution is shite.

I can't believe anyone would lay the blame for the pen with Burge...but it's happened already

Bayliss did make some lovely passes in the first half. His main failure this season is that he often shows too much of the ball to the opposition. It's like he hasn't adjusted to the fact that he's playing against better players - who are more likely to take it off him. I still cant understand...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. AFC Wimbledon Match Thread - Saturday 12th Jan

I was feeling reasonably positive after 15 minutes. Not so much after 45. The reason is for all the territorial advantage, the attempts on goal were largely piss poor and some of the deliveries into the box were dire. When decent balls were played in, there was rarely anyone in the positions...

Don't you think I've done enough damage to my kids already by indoctrinating them into a lifetime of CCFC addiction, without inflicting on them the sight of me wearing only pants and the odd stray baked bean?

    The sole reason why...

…we won our games against Charlton, Southend and Wycombe was that I was wearing my new Christmas present, (a retro 60s style shirt) while watching on iFollow. There’s a lot of rigorous scientific analysis to back this up that’s too complicated to go into here. Prior to the Scunthorpe game I...

Agreed. I think he's on a downward trajectory and he didn't seem that great 2 seasons ago

Blimey. Bayliss a 6? I though his performance (apart from one misplaced pass) was excellent. Even before the sublime assist, I thought he played really well. In fact, I thought the way he played was a good riposte to the numpties* who have been suggesting he should be rested. *That would be...

Totally agree. It's hard to reconcile the fact he was seen as integral to Shrewbury's excellent season in 2017-18 with what's happened since - unless there is an enduring injury problem. My impression was he was signed as the successor to Doyle. I would love to see him being given a...

You knew that was bollox. I knew that was bollox. So I'm pretty sure the council knew that was bollox too.

Very worrying. Hope he’s ok. Was thinking it was a great brave challenge but wish he hadn’t made it if it’s resulted in serious injury. Taken the shine off the win
