    Ricoh Mudbath

Just imagine it when there've been a few scrums in the goal areas. To be honest I've so much contempt for everyone involved I'm looking forward to the embarrassment when the whole thing turns into Glastonbury.

    CCC owe us

And Higgs can put their cash windfall into the pot too.

PWKH, SISU, CCC, Higgs, Lucas, Seppala, Fisher

Take a look at the WASPS website. Just the sight of that arrogant pampered posh boy on the Ricoh pitch makes me want to smash something. God I hate this country sometimes. The Downton Abbey-loving, the deference, the fact that spivvy City boys from poncy schools own everything and show nothing...

Coventry City FC's bid for half of Ricoh Arena firm rejected

Well that's that. SISU should go now - there's nothing left for them and they deserve nothing but contempt. I wouldn't be surprised if they leave very quickly. Someone will pick up the pieces of our fantastic proud, old club and start again. For now we'll be tenants but, reading some of the...

    Impressions from visiting PAFC fan

' ... it must be nice to have somewhere to play that isn't rusting and leaking all over the place!' We'd all give anything to go back the stadium like that we used to own.

    ACL chairman forced to resign

I'd support it too Mattylad - but only after Sisu have gone.

    ACL chairman forced to resign

Well, it looks like the Ricoh has gone from the club for good. Maybe Higgs would put the proceeds from Wasps into a trust fund created to build the club a new ground in Coventry sometime in the future. Obviously a new ground would only belong to the club at some time when Sisu and their ilk are...

    Should wasps buy ccfc?

Are Wasps planning to take out the sky blue seats and fit yellow and black ones? A genuine question!

Its Time the Higgs Charity Remembered it's Loyalties

That neither of these charlatans should have been allowed anyway near any club or any ground.

If Wasps get all of the Ricoh.....

Are they more inefficient than Sisu have been? Could anyone be? I don't see why councils shouldn't be very involved in local sports teams. It's good for local business and the general well-being of an area. We've all been brain-washed into this 'public sector bad - private sector good' rubbish...

Its Time the Higgs Charity Remembered it's Loyalties

But they'll not be selling to CCFC, no Coventry club will own it. It'll be in the hands of a hedge fund subsidiary in the Cayman Islands.

If Wasps get all of the Ricoh.....

... would CCC still object to ccfc building a new stadium inside the city boundary? I can't see why it would but has anyone asked the question?

Bid Tabled for Ricoh from CCFC

To be honest I've lost track of all the ins and outs of our plight recently, so, why do you see a 50% ownership as the perfect outcome? Do you hope Wasps will rein in Sisu? Doesn't it just mean Sisu will asset-strip and parasitise their 50% and the team will still see no investment?

    Higgs Share Update

Thanks Torchy - could be good news I guess.

    Higgs Share Update

Excuse my ignorance, but is this historical information or is CCFC trying to buy the Higgs share right now?

    Ryan Haynes

No wonder nobody gives a toss any more. The slightest hint of talent in a player and Sisu sells him. It's hopeless. I know all the stuff about Sisu keeping the club going and all that but really, Coventry City has just become a zombie football club.

    No good sacking Pressley....

Pressley has had all his best players sold from underneath him the minute they become valuable, and had his budget cut year on year That is a hopeless way to run any football club. He's worked miracles in my view but he no longer has players good enough to play in the style he likes.
  19. Bill Glazier

    Time for SP to go..

Consecutive 60% budget reductions are the culprit. Pressley needs a budget.

    The 1960's feeling....

I normally agree with what you say Otis, but I don't think it's up to the fans. If the team does well, and I think Pressley's really got something going, then the fans will pour in. That's what happened under Jimmy Hill. A promotion push will do the job.
