Good Guy Vultures Starting to Swarm

Most of that stuff is already there, and a lot of it is already under-utilised

Help Required: Info on Mo Konjic.

I particularly remember him scoring vs. Man City after one of his trademark runs, think it was Roland's first game in charge in 2001. Of course going especially mental was obligatory in the west terrace for a Mo goal (they weren't all that common in truth!)

    Does everyone agree?

I think we would need to know more about the income and outgoings of ACL to answer that... are ACL loss-making without the rent from CCFC? (If not then why did the council need to step in to guarantee their debts?) If so then surely the ricoh will continue to be a net loss-maker whoever owns it...

    Irony - West Ham

I wonder if West Ham would still be committed to paying the £2m if they somehow ended up in league 1 at some point in the next 20 years (not all that unlikely) - leaving upton park will seem like a total disaster... I reckon they're walking into exactly the same trap as us prompted by greedy...

How bad our home record actually is...

What's (slightly) interesting is that Donny, Sheff U, Swindon and Tranmere have also all picked up more points away than at home - perhaps not as extreme but still must be something of a trend for teams freezing in front of their own audience when the pressure is on.

What companies in C&W would be affected without ccfc?

It's inconceivable that ccfc could disappear without a continuation club of some sort - not one of the many clubs who have gone bust in recent years (all much smaller than ccfc) have actually been properly wiped out, and crowds have tended to be not much lower than before, if at all. So this is...

    £10 Yeovil tickets

http://warwicksport.warwick.ac.uk/news/article/sport/CCFC-v-Yeovil-Town-TicketampDrink-10/ Hmm, should be easy to find someone to buy one, but is there any actual risk of being asked for University ID at the ground? Since entry is automated anyway

    preston v cov goals

Something weird about the crowd noise there, for one thing they seem to be ignoring the goals!

    Preston Match Thread

Not sure about that - Luton still have the stature of a long-standing league club and this scoreline just doesn't have the same ring to it in becoming 'historical' as Sutton did. On-topic: Not a bad scoreline, but not sure it's good enough - looking at the table I think overhauling any of the...

Mark Robins - What a brilliant appointment !

We were also very happy with Aidy Boothroyd at this point in his tenure after a successful run, I remember people saying much the same, how at last we had found someone who knew their stuff after all the previous failures... not saying at all that I think Robins will head the same way but still...

For all the hard working self-employed & private sector workers

Yeah it's the Mitt Romney 47% myth, but in fact the private sector is 100% reliant on the infrastructure provided by public spending in order to make its money and pay its taxes (who educated your staff and your clients, who provides the transport for them to get around, keeps them healthy...

    Jesus give us a sign/song???

Didn't it start out life as 'naughty corner', back in the days when stewards used to try and clamp down on persistent standing... talking of cringeworthy when oh when will the club stop playing chelsea dagger after goals, surely 99% of fans don't want it

Free Radio report a Statutory Demand issued to CCFC

In Darlington there is a 25k seater stadium sitting mothballed with little prospect of any use any time soon - I don't think it's impossible something like this could eventually happen here, although would have to be more extreme given all the attached facilities, and at least there is the...

Anybody want a job at Coventry City?

Damn I was so close on this one but just not 'detail oriented' enough, and my approach to service is orientated well away from results - will have to give it a miss on this occasion (hmm, what's the difference between oriented and orientated anyhow?)

I'm sick of the ticket buying website

Agreed with last post - seems a bizarre thing to complain about as I've always found it better than other ticket booking systems I've come across, both in terms of ease of seat selection and lack of excessive fees. Would you rather we outsourced to ticketmaster and paid about a fiver per ticket?

    SSN: Phil Brown being interviewed!

But there's the problem - he hasn't done fook all, he's already had massive success and has hit the usual downward spiral. Much like Dowie and Boothroyd (both had taken unfancied clubs up to the premiership) - is there any example of such a manager who has been sacked (let alone twice) but then...

Who do you fancy in Round 2 JPT?

Hmm, not sure I'd want to go to wembley for a JPT final, was at one in cardiff a few years ago where 40k Bristol City fans turned out, but it was a weird atmosphere as what were they ultimately celebrating? It was more about the day out than the importance of the match - would far rather save...

    Inflatables At Yeovil

I think at least a few of the inflatables ended up over the wall at the back and out of the ground, perhaps a new unanticipated occupational hazard at this level!
