Have we now fallen in love with The Ricoh?

I still hate the place, crap modern stadium and in a far worse location than others like leicester and derby. But that's completely irrelevant to what's going on now (for one thing any fantasy sisu-bowl would almost certainly be even worse, plus the station seems to be finally happening, unless...

    20k to relocate to northampton

Skiing in Hemel Hempstead for me... this creepy advertising software obviously knows me too well. But only a few stops on from northampton if anyone fancies it

    Breakaway/Phoenix Club

but then 90% of City fans have no team to support (as City fans) possibly for 3+ years? Perhaps some aren't bothered about that but many are. The next best option might be say watching Sphinx, but as someone said they are not City, a fan-run club would be far more appealing IMO

    Breakaway/Phoenix Club

They don't have to be mutually exclusive options - I'd happily watch a CCFC team in Coventry set up by fans but at the same time continue the battle to rescue the franchised club, if we get it back then great, the non-league outfit can either continue as a recreational thing or be disbanded. I...

Away games to avoid next season

Crewe and PNE don't seem to like us much and both seemed to find the whole thing vaguely amusing when I had a quick look!

Have ACL been completely beaten here

Personally I hope ACL can force the league to boot the sorry carcass of CCFC out altogether, no place to play fixtures should = no fixtures

What if ACL cut there losses...

It doesn't have to be that way - if only fans could unite and write off this SISU run entity for good, then the biggest asset in the long run still resides with ACL, that is a stadium that has potential to be filled with CCFC fans one way or another - unfortunately the fact that the league will...

    Coventry United Football Club Statement

Difficult one this - I'm sure it's well intentioned but fragmentation could be a terrible thing at this point, I'd be keen to watch a non-league club in Coventry at least as a temporary measure pending a proper phoenix club or other resolution, I think ideally the Trust has to have a stance on...

    Will you go to Sixfields

Glad to see over 90% say no so far, which I guess could equate to 1000 or so going, although it's hard to know the proportions of regulars - I suspect there may be a chunk of the older fanbase (not internet types) who sit towards the middle of the side stand who'll resolutely keep following SISU...

How many believe we will be at the Ricoh this season?

what a shit poll... the outcome of a simple yes or no question would have been interesting, but then you put a third 'option' which has nothing to do with the main question, all in one single choice...

    Coventry United Officially Formed.

If there ever became a need for a phoenix club it would be a job for a democratic fans group (such as the trust). No problem if some people want to form new club but they really shouldn't be trying to link themselves to CCFC or AFC Wimbledon.

    preferred bidder is sisu

Good call - the league may have no choice to accept whatever devious plan this all is but they can still hammer what remains of the club with points deductions (bit like when ken bates pulled a similar trick at leeds if I remember)

Most Hated Individual Ever to be associated with CCFC

For me, the clincher for richardson is that he awarded himself a six figure bonus for 'sealing the deal' (as you say at a price that soon turned out to be way too low)

    Breaking News from SISU....................

Feel a bit sorry for the staff who end up manning the wheelbarrow all day and flogging next to bugger all - must be stressful times with all the crap going on and jobs in a fair bit of doubt

    Average attendance 2012/13

I'm pretty convinced despite the bluster that the owners being sisu / a.n.other will in itself make little difference to crowds (assuming still being at the ricoh), compared with general success/feeling of optimism or not. A bit surprised though at the extent of the drop this season - it's...

    Watching football at the Ricoh...

Ricoh is a god-awful place, barely even in coventry with nothing but corporate crap surrounding it, there was no reason whatsoever to leave HR.

    93/94 Season Review - Video

I have a vague memory of a telegraph article of the club falling out with the producers (paper plane or something) over how crap one of them was. I had 92-93 which was OK except the whole first half of the season (when most of the decent wins were) was whizzed through with no commentary or info

    Oh, what HOPES we had!

I think the downturn was setting in well before robins left, I don't think he'd have done much better than pressley, definitely not 10 points better (ignoring the deduction). But overall I wouldn't say this season felt much worse than the many drab championship seasons we've had in recent...

    Shocking Moments at CCFC Games

Actually nobody booed, just a few west ham fans were still coming up from under the stand and started singing not realising what was going on (stupid but not intentional) - they might soon have realised and shut up but then some attention-seeking morons in our end decided to make the situation...

    Should be at Wembley today.

Agreed, glad we're not there - it'd be a silly distraction, and nothing more than a day out at a pretty average modern stadium in the scheme of things (yes it'd be great to be at wembley someday, but it's the sense of the occasion that makes it, not just the stadium). But congratulations to Crewe
