So overall the JS statement positive or negative

Ah but I'm not sure at what point the bbc have published a lengthy column saying 'hey fans, in the spirit of KCIC you should really be campaigning to give SISU everything they want'

    Les reid's ct article

Well said. I am really concerned that there could be a gradual shift where the majority opinion gradually morphs from KCIC to 'sell SISU the stadium on the cheap' (because they're one and the same, right?). That seems pretty much what Les Reid has clearly been pushing for all along. There may...

Leamington FC v Altrincham this weekend

Being from Leamington and growing up when they didn't exist I do have some affinity with them regardless but wouldn't really expect people from cov with no connection to go along, do think it would be nice if a few more people would go and watch the sphinx who after all play in skyblue and are...

    Coventry Pub Reviews

from a vaguely 'real ale geek' perspective (may be well out of date) whitefriars - 8/10 usually good beer choice but staff can be a bit disinterested gatehouse tavern - 7/10 nice garden, not much space inside, good 1st stop on a tour town wall tavern - 6/10 ok place for quiet drink if passing...

    Port Vale Away Dilema

This, the fare from coventry is a joke given it's only 16 quid day return from brum. Also, instead of a taxi you could add a plusbus to the rail ticket for 3 quid, you need to change in hanley but they're both quite frequent routes. Also means you could stop for a pint somewhere instead of the...

    Preston Match Thread

not allowed to talk about the attendance then? And how weird the atmosphere will be once again? Match threads have always been about more than 11 men on a field kicking a ball around, Nick it seems to me you're indulging in cheap irrelevant point-scoring yourself by trying to shoot down valid...

    Breakaway/Phoenix This Year?

I put b, not so much that I would support a SISU tinpot stadium even if it was reality, but think the trust's line of giving it a while is sensible just because the recent speed of developments suggests things could be very different in a few months. But if the current situation does drag on...

    What did ACL acheive exactly?

The offer was a joke, that's why they rejected it

    Leyton Orient Match Thread

Well we will be back and there's nothing much you can do about it. Funny how the calls for tolerance and fan unity in these extreme circumstances only seem to apply to those going to Northampton (and I agree, much as I don't understand them).

    Leyton Orient Match Thread

Harsh comment - people can't help how they feel, it's not some kind of spiteful choice, it's a genuine feeling of total disconnection and annoyance that they have been allowed to carry on as if everything's normal. It is us who are missing out more than those of you who still feel fine getting...

    Coventry 1883

Different circumstances, but FC United seem have done a very good job of bridging the gap between people who have given up for good, people who are temporarily disillusioned with the owners, and people who still support the team but can't afford it or whatever... that said they had a very big...

    6-1 to go down

    Crawley 3-2 SISU FC

Yep I pretty much wanted the team to lose today, awful thing to say given the great supporters who were there cheering them on, but am really worried that good results risk softening the resolve against what they have done

    So ACL had no option

The talks stopped because SISU were never interested in a deal short of buying the whole thing on the cheap. This has been proven by the Seppala quote

Sisu are to blame for most things but not today's debacle...

This unfortunately shows the inherent contradiction in following the team away but not home... I think the only way that fans can win is to disown this team entirely, shame for the players but until something changes they are no longer 'us', and whether they win or lose tomorrow is irrelevant.

    10 point deduction confirmed

The golden share being liquidated should mean just that - fixtures cancelled, 23 team league 1 this season. Otium should have no entitlement to the league place whatsoever. (Yes I know this was never likely in practice)

    Keys on Talksport

As a member of UKIP at the time Nikki Sinclaire was elected on a far rightwing platform (pro-free-market, anti-state etc) - it's hardly surprising that she'll tend to side with a shady london hedgefund over a local authority

    'Home' match against Bristol City

Hate to ruin a good conspiracy theory but the ground plan says 'South Stand - Away Fans Only' on the right hand side... that said, it's just a copy of the NTFC one with the badge and colours changed.

    Acl/cva

I find it hard to believe that Otium could really liquidate CCFC Ltd and just walk away from the lease given they effectively are CCFC Ltd in new clothes - if that's in line with the law then it's a very bizarre one.

    New Kit Leaked

How are there 84 kits in the picture when there's only 72 league clubs? (I'm probably being thick, or my maths is way off somewhere)
