    Strong Claims about CCC/CET

That's outrageous. Everyone knows it's only every OTHER day.

    Strong Claims about CCC/CET

Strictly speaking, repeating defamatory claims is libel. That includes retweets or copying and pasting on to a forum. The burden of proof is also on the accuser, not the victim. Just for guidance of course!

    Strong Claims about CCC/CET

Way above my pay grade. I don't really think it's good form to add anything other than what's in the statement. But I will always defend the integrity of the newspaper I work for and any challenges to my professionalism. I know many feel the same. Hence the statement.

    Strong Claims about CCC/CET

No "deal" to my knowledge since I've been at the Telegraph. And not before according to fellow NUJ members who have been with the paper longer. Hence the statement. Personally, and professionally, I always think evidence adds weight to any claims of wrongdoing. It certainly helps to have some...

Council admits Ricoh Arena was not sustainable without CCFC

Devil's advocate - Was £5.54million for a company which had just lost £400k "on the cheap"? Also worth noting, the council still retains the freehold. I'm not saying it was right or wrong to sell to Wasps by the way. There are clearly many arguments for and against.

There is no pending land deal...

I didn't knock £10m off anything. The negotiations were nothing to do with me! The figure did change by £10m from what councillors were originally briefed. Why? Only those involved know. I think this is the story you are referring to...

There is no pending land deal...

Has it? I don't remember writing that. At one point in the negotiations there was talk of £1m being removed from the loan. However, my understanding is that may not have happened. In fact, we don't know if there is even a new loan agreement. But I'd be surprised if the last loan agreement...

    SISU bring in PR company

Advent have been doing limited work for them for some time. Still involved, but not on a major level I understand. Many PR companies have come and gone over the years. They even employed the PR man used by Paul Appleton (before he used him) for a very brief time. I also understand Weber...
