You would have to do an assessment of the debt owed and an impairment review to show the amount at fair value. That value would be the recoverable amount......

Could have been it doesn't give the timings but even with the loan the club had negative cash flow of £481k. So without the loan it would not have had the money in the bank to pay the bills. did they knock back the bids or simply ask too much ? Who knows
