    Highfield Road article on F365

Sold for 4m making a loss of 5.2m on the deal. The cash flow generated wasn't all put to the new stadium either, given that club was loss making every year since HR was sold including year of sale. Turnover at Highfield Road wasn't £5m either when the decision to move out was made 1996 £8.9m...

Just focus on the thought that key to settle this it will have to be to ARVO's best advantage wingy. Seppala acts for ARVO.

pennies in the £ is not going to come in to it. Just my opinion but no one in their right mind is going to buy Otium shares ,which in any case are valued at no more than £1. The reason no one will buy those shares is because of the ARVO loan and annual interest burden plus the preference shares...

I know it is a shareholders decision. But even so it provides a convenient additional barrier doesn't it. It puts potential investors off and secures the total assets of company to a minority shareholder third party that having the same money in shares does not. With the money in loans then...

I don't wish to get involved in the usual circular arguments but just some facts The freehold at the Ricoh and the build costs still remain the property of CCC. It still remains as an asset on the CCC balance sheet at the value they choose to include. The freehold and build has never been sold...

Just trying to balance it with what is spent on the rest of the operation. Because given the pot we have that affects the amount spent on first team players. I know it won't be cheap

I am querying what is actually spent on the academy. I did find a set of accounts for another club that gave a breakdown of what could be in admin costs and it wasn't too dissimilar to Ccfc. Will try find it again.

So that would mean out of a total spend of 7m excluding interest around 1m relates to the academy. That's a big chunk of the total spend. Academy spend 1m Wages other than academy say 3.5m Rent and match day costs 400k Other direct and admin costs 2.1m Sorry but another question..... Does it...

How much does the club get as a grant for the academy? Does the 622k spend trigger the grant and mean no more is needed to be spent. Is it cost 622k+ less the grant = the academy spend Or is it 622k+ spend plus the grant = total spend ?

Wages In 2017 there were 398 employees.of that 11 were commercial or admin. Staff I would guess that cost no more than around 350k. There were stewards employed and that I believe to be the wages cost included in direct costs circa 280lk. In addition there were director payments 77k . So of...

Not very but then I would have expected you to understand the point I was making. Your mortgage company have reasonable expectation of collecting the payments due it or to take action to repossess. No body really believes that Ccfc can repay the growing debt and interest burden ..... even Sisu...

The club has to be self sustaining. I think all clubs should be but that's not the accepted football finance model I was only referring to the one years interest to be honest but that could be the case either in full or part. Depends on what SISU decide

    Club Accounts 2016/2017

They converted old debt in to preference shares by clever and legal use of the group situation. They could simply have written it off. But this builds in barriers to anyone looking to force a sale He thinks it would be a good idea because it takes away the interest charge. It would also mean...

but before he said it was part of every £ not equivalent to. Two different things SISU could convert to shares yes but they choose not to as is their right. No reason why any club has a right to free money. What SISU are doing is saying yes it is owed but we wont collect for now. Again that's...

a lot of the clubs file restricted information, as small companies they are allowed to. Others have June year ends so have not filed yet Walsall had a 2017 turnover of £6.6m and a wage bill of £ 3.38m CCFC turnover £6.1m and a wage bill total of 4.45m. Somehow I don't think that CCFC spent £1m...

He is expressing it as if the interest in its entirety is part of every £1 a fan pays over. Its a useless statistic and confuses the issue. Every £ a fan spends is being spent by the club on keeping the operation going. The Interest is not being paid and being rolled up for a hoped for payment...

ask him what it was that was paying the Wages, direct costs and administrative overheads then ? You have to allocate the fans pound across all the costs in much the same way as the Council tax summaries you get. It is illogical to allocate it all to one type of cost because that doesn't...

But did they do that. It seems to me that from 2008 until 2011 they allowed things to carry on the way they always had. After Ranson left, Seppala apparently got more involved with the aim to secure the stadium - just my opinion but that distressed CCFC as much as ACL if not more. Since the...
