Anyone go to the Wasps game today?

At least there is some grass out there now

    The Ricoh

And there lies the problem. In my opinion he acts like a child with all this new stadium carp "If I cant have the other kids toys on my terms Mummy will buy me my own toys" Can you imagine the board meeting after Wasps secured The Ricoh JS "So Timmy, how is your plan to buy The Ricoh for £1...

    The Ricoh

They can do what they want, its their stadium. Whether they do is probably down to revenue. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see the CCFC replaced with WASPS, they have covered it up with a huge black cloth at the last 2 games.

    Fisher on new stadium

Bird in the hand V 2 in the Bush. Can you imagine SISU bought the Ricoh and then somehow sue the council for selling them to it with a £15m loan and demand the lond is reduced to 5p in the £1

Anyone go to the Wasps game today?

To be fair, it is a million times better than the ploughed field that was in place before Wasps replaced it. My analogy would be your rusty 20 year old Skoda is in for repairs and they give you a Ford Mondeo as a courtesy car and you complain its not a Merc... The pitch doesn't discriminate...

    Fisher on new stadium

It's unlikely that Worcester are going to be able to stop it. Wasps are already engaged with the local clubs and have had meetings with Warwickshire RFU.

    Setting us up to fail

There is probably a formula involving the following factors, how much have we invested in them, how much they are worth today on the open market, what is their value to our club in playing, do we need them.

    Fisher on new stadium

Option 17 - drag WASPS into the next round of legal proceedings in an attempt to distress them. Legal case fails and WASPS put the rent up as a precautionary plan to pay for future legal cases brought against them...

Tim Fisher: Long term success on the pitch is what we are all striving to see

Spot on, but you have to go to that negotiation open, honest and willing to trade. Wasps are not just going to give away revenue if SISU keep saying only 2 years to a new stadium, why should they, more likely they are going to rape you senseless to make the most out of you in the 2 years you...

    Byng the merciless speaks

Because it is impossible to have any conversation about CCFC before someone comes along and blames WASPS for stealing the stadium. I heard they also shot JFK, murdered Marilyn Monroe and kidnapped Lord Lucan, but then again that might have been SISU :-)

Council Accused Of 'Absurd' Ricoh Secrecy

Agreed, but no amount of JR, or PI are going to force that to occur

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

I truly don't, but SISU hardly have a great record in building relationships, they seem to prefer threats and scorched earth...

Council Accused Of 'Absurd' Ricoh Secrecy

It is a dream. Nothing is going to change the deal, WASPs are not going to be forced to hand it back.

    Question Mark over Academy

I guess Higgs would be well perturbed if they spent £80k and then SISU said thanks, were off down the road to Binley park to train. SISU hardly have a great reputation at paying rent. And again it all comes down to "The New Stadium", why is anyone going to invest on behalf of a tenant who may...
