    Transfer Rumour Chris Martin

agree he would be a good signing but his wages make this highly unlikely, he was on massive money at derby.

good move by the club, demonstrates we are not standing still and this sale alerts others in the squad that if they want to stay they have to work hard to improve. if we are to progress we have to acquire better players, for me he is not athletic enough to make the step up to the championship...

    Match Thread Coventry v Rangers

Absolutely want to be in Cov, but it has to be on the right terms for the football club, not just for the rugby union team from London. Ultimately, life is short, if we are lucky we might reach 82 so do not punish yourself, watching the Sky Blues even if it is in Birmingham is essential. If you...

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

Our capitulation at the Ricoh against Luton Town when we were 2 - 0 up was a classic case of the fragility of both Haynes and Burge. I still feel the pain. I think Stokes returned after that game.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

I hope you are right and I am looking forward to seeing him in Sky Blue but any suggestion that Walsh would not cut it in the Championship is bollocks. If Walsh is not Championship level then we really are going to struggle.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

Haynes was an absolute liability, he could play well for 80 minutes and then have a 10 minute spell that resulted in the opposition taking advantage of his defensive frailties. The combination of him and Burge was an absolute shitstorm.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

we may have made a signing but we have not replaced walsh who was by far our most effective player.

    Retained players list

He played so few games it is difficult to judge, I imagine he played for Burton in the Championship.

    SBT player of the season

Walsh, closely followed by O Hare.

    Walshy wants cov

The reality is that our most talented players are O Hare and Walsh, our back 6 were solid and functional and yes Dabo and McCallum (also a loan player) offered something going forward but undoubtedly O Hare and Walsh made the real difference going forward. Next season we will be competing to...

    Where will we finish?

not really sure of the background but sheff utd somehow finished 10 in their first season and followed up with promotion. that is the dream.

    Where will we finish?

interesting, most on here, so far have more or less intimated that staying in the league would be a base to make further progress the following season but we know the reality is that we will lose a substantial number of games and the support for robins will waver. it really should not waver...

Utterly despicable. Robin's should have a joint role, our manager and Council Leader.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

    Brilliant! Currently listening to Sabotage.

‘If’ we are promoted what do we need to compete in Championship?

Without O' Hare and Walsh we will definitely need to overhaul the front end of our team, however I am optimistic as Robin's will once again be ruthless. He recognised quickly that to progress further we needed to replace Doyle, Grimmer, Clarke-Harris......all important players who had made a...

    It’s not over yet

although it may appear peculiar I am pretty certain that Tranmere are not strongly in favour of completing the season. from the bits and pieces I have picked up they appear to be relatively philosophical about their fate.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Ha,ha...no I relented. However, I have always felt that Lloyd was in the same boat as Mark E Smith, he was not appreciated. The combination of Lloyd and Dean Emerson was magnificent, unfortunately injuries blighted both players.
