EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Indeed Lloyd McGrath. Loved this man, wanted to call our first child Lloyd. Unfortunately this didn't happen.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

it would be great to think so but bear in mind our players have been furloughed so there has been no collective training etc. it is a fair possibility that many of our players will have not been quite as disciplined as you would expect.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

although it will be painful TRFC will not vote to continue to play, digging up your pitch sort of indicates their season is over. please somebody tell me why BRFC will want to continue?! unless they are on the receiving end of a bung they have no reason to continue. gillingham cannot seriously...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

absolutely, after what would be a three month break form is no longer a factor, there would be a bucketful of random results.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

the season ended on tuesday 10 march 2020, the night sunderland were beaten at bristol rovers which in reality ended their play off aspirations. just say, league 1 footy resumed in july 2020, that would represent a 16 week break, how on earth can anybody judge that as reasonable or fair. clubs...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

so because one or two people are shouting louder we abandon the conventional format of four teams competing in the play offs, nonsense. the format has to be the format agreed for league 2.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

agreed, we might get away with the back part of our team, but bearing in mind walsh and o'hare will likely be gone the front part of our team will need a complete overhaul. without a ground, funding what will be necessary will probably not happen. just hope fans remember whatever happens robins...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

it is bollocks, the measures taken in the majority of countries are driven by one factor, money. shut down footy which is predominantly an outdoor event but allow bars, schools and music venues, predominantly indoor activities to remain open.

Anyone else not sure what to do with themselves?

current night time routine consists of running through our remaining fixtures prior to dropping off and considering which 6 we can get maximum points from, gillingham and blackpool away provide most concern. if we do get promoted robbins deserves unconditional support irrespective of where we...

    O'Hare or Walsh

they have both made a big impact on performances, my concern is they could run out of 'legs' between them they have played very few first team games. that is the risk with loaning talented but relatively inexperienced players. suspect that is the reason robins eased both of them into our first team.

Match Thread Ipswich v Coventry Match Thread

however, they handed lambert a 5 year deal way beyond the first 10 games of the season, if they have significant internal difficulties they obviously trust lambert to resolve them. the present culture of football seldom rewards managers with such lengthy contracts.

Match Thread Ipswich v Coventry Match Thread

nonsense. we scored early at rochdale and just about managed to secure a narrow victory. any victory would be great tomorrow, a draw would be fine. at some point Ipswich will hit their tipping point and start winning a few games. i hope it is not tomorrow.

    Our Landlords (BCFC)...astonishing stuff

how the council have continuously avoided criticism for behaving so negatively towards all those associated with coventry city is astounding, a football club is made up of many layers, the owners being just one layer, they are in a situation where they should be directed to take the moral high...

    Lincoln Tickets

not convinced, there will be plenty of available space at gillingham but as we know this is not always what determines our away allocation. at portman road tomorrow there will be a least 10,000 empty seats!!! once the club stopped selling season tickets they probably should have made accessing...

    Ipswich v Fleetwood

not too long ago it seemed Ipswich were at least guaranteed a top 6 spot, they have now lost 3 on the spin and their fans are now rather disillusioned that lambert was given a long term contract, 4 or 5 years, demonstrates how quickly momentum can swing. it is difficult to contain our excitement...

Meeting with Joy Seppala & Dave Boddy - Thursday 27th February 2020

how on earth any reasonably intelligent coventry city fan still fails to recognise that the council are significantly complicit in the team playing outside the city is beyond belief, the substantial reason we are in birmingham this season is due to those shambolic and unprincipled characters...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Sunderland Match Thread - Sunday 1st Mar

utterly preposterous. have you yet to leave the kindergarten, robins steers the ship to an automatic promotion place having lost three games all season and you propose that he picks random names of a hat. deluded.

    Anti St Andrews Fans Question

unsurprisingly, there does seem to be a surge of interest, it is a possibility that the kop stand could be full to capacity on tuesday, if that happens on the evening of the game does the club have the capacity to open a block in the tilton? it would be rather disappointing if those wanting...
