If anyone thinks the forum is going to be used for anything other than people venting on their bad days and having a laugh about how shit we are on their good days then I think they probably need to come off it for a while. There is nothing else to say, its fucking dire. Lampard put so much into rebuilding his reputation to serve up this absolute wank.

- Hamer: Where has his aggression and physicality gone? He’s definitely not a 10 either.

- Cherif: bit harsh but he’s not ready to start in the Premier League. We really spent £20.5m on a backup.

No it wouldn't, not the way we are playing now.
Hull finished well behind us last season, but have shown belief and spirit so far this term.
They fight for everything and dont gift wrap 2 goals to the opposition every game.

It wasn’t the performance we wanted after Brighton.

It feels like there’s so much wrong in the background. But it shouldn’t be. Best position the club has been in decades.

The players are scared to play football, there’s no intensity, no leaders, nobody who wants it bad… they look like they are in detention.
 
Víctor Torp excellent mate ! Honestly played a great role. One or two other promising performances but let’s be honest Lati, Thomas and Pinnock really fuck off , shocking . The keeper is a fucking liability too .
They really were there for the taking , nothing special. Comic defending ! 😡
 
Well that was…expected.

We’ve probably kickstarted their season as well.
 
I don't know what to say anymore, really. There's potential is some of our new signings. Yirenki has something about him, and I can't believe he hasn't been starting. First half there were some good things, apart from the defending.

The whole team is soft. They need to grie a pair, because being shit is one thing. At least go down with a bit of fight about you. And we haven't got it. This squad is soft as shit. There's absolutely nothing in them that resembles a bit of fight. A desire to get stuck in and at least have a go.

Coaching wise, I know that Lampard knows all about attacking midfield.

All I know about Joe Edwards is that we banged 6 past his joke of a Millwall defence.

Get Ady back to get that defensive cohesion.

Laugh all you want. We need some proper coaching.

All those sitters we had and we only score from a direct free kick. Then conceding just completely laughable goals while our best CB gets injured for months. Referees giving us absolutely nothing.

I just want to beat Derby’s 11 points…

Those goals were ones you'd expect a half decent school side to be able to defend against. It's just basic. No side, certainly no professional side, should ever concede a goal like that. To do it twice is unspeakable.

Losing Amenda is the worst possible thing that could possibly have happened.

Third goal and taking off Mfuni (who looks a proper player) and Yirenkyi utterly killed the game.
 
Should have tried for Mings. The main problem is however you perm Amenda / Thomas / Pinnock it’s not good enough.

That aside for Friday I’d go with
Rushworth
MVE
Mfuni
Tchaouna
Goboho
Yirenkyi
Onyeka
Rudoni
Cherif
Plus two from Amenda/ Pinnock / Thomas

But Lsmps will go with Grimes and EMC
 
Don't mind losing but this is pathetic, Lampard has to show something at Forest or he's got to go over the international break.
 
Basically not at the races apart from that spell after Torp scored. It felt like Villa could go through us at almost any time.

Will we be competitive against anyone this season?
 
Well it’s on Frank now for me , he can’t continue to play his favourites he has to play the game changers and the ones with the potential and ability to win games .
My personal take , albeit on fleeting performances , is that Torp , Yerenkyi and Rudi is our best midfield three .
Mfuni and Gboho have the potential to be as dynamic as Tats and MvE were last season
As for right side Tchoumna has to start with either MvE of KKH behind him
Awonyi is our starting 9 but Cherif has to be given minutes as he was unlucky not to score tonight
Central defence is an absolute nightmare though , Frank has to pick two and stick with them . Amenda and Thomas are probably going to be that pairing

Lots for Frank to ponder and make tough decisions
 
We’ve just been easily beaten by the reserves of the 2nd worst team in the league right now.
How much did we spend on Cherif and ca we get a refund?
