I love Nick really but the indulgence of people who only come on here to have weird arguments with people they’ve never met and barely talk about football is becoming a real problem. Used to just be Grendel O’Day and the odd appearance from Boosh, these days it’s half of some threads with some weirdo popping up to pick fights.

This window has been a lot of option pieces talking about how brilliant Doug and Dean are while they sit in their offices doing fuck all.

Doug has learned the lesson that the squad shouldn’t be tiny. What he hasn’t learned is that the quality of the squad shouldn’t be above players who didn’t make the bench at the level below.

All the talk about being careful financially misses two pretty huge plot holes:

1. You can be prudent without leaving glaring gaps in the team.
2. Keeping multiple players on the books who wont get near the bench makes zero financial sense.

We are at the point now where its almost 6 months to have planned the squad out for this season. There is no reason to be sitting on £20-30M of talent, its pure negligence and risks setting back careers. Im sure that will do wonders for squad harmony.

You're a shit wum and to be fair, you're lucky you weren't trying it 15 years ago. You're not clever enough to do what you try.
