Transfer Rumour BTA to WBA

In fairness , we lose to man city saturday we are 3 points worse off than you expected to be but still only 3 games in

WE have to give them chance to get it right , the strongest 11 on paper looks pretty solid
Losing at home to Hull is grim though isnt it let's be honest. I kind of agree on the strongest 11, the subs the other day were all shocking though.

Its just annoying. I'm not even a negative person regarding this club really and have refused to join in with multiple meltdowns during Lampards reign, but has anyone been enthused by anything they've seen so far?
I seriously hope people are dragging this up like they do when the likes of you, BSB, Saddlebrains and co melt down and it turns out ok, but I don't see it happening.
To be quite honest I got so tired of being typecast based on the 20/21 season that I turned it into a character to play for the gallery.

Last season however was the peak of supporting CCFC and I don’t think realistically is going to be topped. I had hoped for a brave fight against relegation though and that looks in doubt based on the early signs.

I’m hoping it too. Read through the meltdown after the post Gyokeres rebuild today and that was posted in October and sounded very similar. I just worry at this level it gets in your head and you become a whipping boy but in the Champ you can be bottom at Xmas and go up in the playoffs.
You can turn things around way easier in the Championship. You can go and win anywhere on your day whereas we have to back up a home defeat to Hull by heading to Man City.

I've deleted my post insulting Diety as it was done in anger. He winds me up with his bullshit sometimes but I still shouldn't have and apologise. No one asked me to do this, I just want to meltdown in peace.

I hope every CCFC meltdown I’ve ever had is thrown back in my face because it would mean that things have turned around.

Would love it if my post-Hull ‘Tchaouna is shit’ shout is getting quoted in a few months time.

try the more subtle approach, ask if he is call diety as people say "oh my fucking god" at most things he says

Perhaps for once he's the sensible one and I've lost my head. His track record isn't great but we'll see.

Surely if he's our only left wing cover and we are trying to sell, we have more incomings in mind?
I think we're switching formation from what ive heard, so we wont be using wingers, going to a 5 at the back.

we'll be playing wingers even if we go 3 CBs, EMC is not as good when not on the left and and we are not writing of Loum after 2 games.

if we go 3 at the back it will be

Keeper
RCB-CB-LB
RWV-CDM-CDM-LWB
RW-CF-LW

we used this system away a Pompey last year.

If you're right that's a load of money paid to Burnley for someone we won't be starting
He can play anywhere in the front line, so it makes sense, Mason clarke can also play behind the striker, i believe he did for Peterborough sometimes. Sakamoto has also played behind the striker for us, we could go back to the box midfielder and also play 51212

Sakamoto at number 10 is just ridiculous

we are not playing EMC or Tats there

Yes, surely he's completely unqualified for the role of Prime Minister.
Probably still be better than a lot of the people that have been though.

And technically you don't need any qualifications whatsoever to be PM.

I am pretty sure we tried to play tats there previously and it was pointless.

I think EMC could do a job there as long as he was allowed to pull wide when we attacked. Drop into the top of a box midfield when out of possession.

Swansea away, I think Godden scored and if I remember rightly ro0adworks as soon as we got to Wales.

if it's the game i think it was, it wss 1-1

yeah 1-1, godden scored then yates scored for them about a minute or 2 later

saka as a 10 kept doing that shoulder drop and chop think but as he was playing 10 it just meant he ended up cutting into where all their players were.

I'm sure hes played there a couple of times and was crap both times. Not his position in the Champ and definitely not in the Prem.

He also did play lwb as I think a sub in the Rhys Webb Sunderland away. Is it him that crosses the ball for Rudi?

Agreed on everything but the final sentence. The early signs being exclusively based on one game v Hull though.

Arsenal out classed Man City, Villa and ourselves. You can’t takeaway any meaningful conclusions from that game.

As for Hull, we were the better side but lost in a smash and grab. It is what is and we’ll start to see what the squad is made of before the international break.

2 games in. 2!

The second part of that sentence is true, but we were not the better side.

They executed their game plan, we didn't.

It's not the window I'm concerned about, but how a series of poor performances will affect confidence in a league that we'd be near the bottom of even with everything being favourable.

Hull had 2 shots at 0.02 xG until the 74th minute of the game. As Jamie Carragher pointed out, we probably tried to force a win too much.

Hull defended well and limited our chances but were in control and looked favourites to break the deadlock before one mistake cost us.

Hull won’t stay up playing like that.

I didn't say they deserved to win, just that we weren't the better team. We weren't.

I agree they won't stay up playing like that, but that's not really relevant to the outcome of a single game.

What was the score?
