No I agree and expect he will have a spell on the bench. Which is why he started against Stoke in a largely second string side. And so he should when out of form. It’s all the shit coming from a faction of the fans, the level of vitriol last seen against Stern John. Some of it makes me feel quite uncomfortable.

I had people near me going ‘Haji SHITE SHITE SHITE’ on Saturday. It’s just bizarre behaviour from grown men to be doing that.
However-he has looked more disinterested with each game and has switched agents seemingly in a bid to get out of here. The problem is neither his performances nor goal tallies will have got him any interest from the clubs he wants it from. It needs to come from him.

We cant stop threads discussing players abilities etc .. i feel like this is a bit further than that at this point , ellis has had alot of support from the fanbase mostly even through some extremely barron patches

In their first season at the club it was quite different. Wright had his name sung every time he missed a decent chance, Simms I remember cupping his ears at the fans after scoring (I want to say away at Plymouth). They have gone through phases of being the pantomime villain at different points.
If Simms now goes on a long barren run and puts in similar performances to what Wright has done, he’ll get the same treatment.
