The difference between Wright and Viktor is when Vik didn't score he looked like he was doing something because he clattered into a few defenders. Wright will never do that . He's more subtle with his approach. The goals will start flowing again as long has he gets in the right positions

Viktor gave everything for the shirt, wrights effort is questionable. if Vik wasn’t getting the service he’d come looking for it and demand it. You could give him the ball in areas and he’d do something with it. Wrights nothing like Vik.

Correct and most strikers are different. My point is Viktor was loved for his effort not just his goals. Look at the problems he's now having at Arsenal. Haaland for instance does fuck all if he doesn't score. Id like to think Wright is more of a Haaland type for the championship. The goals will come back

It's a much better way to quantify chance creation than just looking at the number of shots taken or shots on target. Pundits and fans also tend to overestimate the likelihood of scoring for most chances, so having actual statistical data combats that bias.

Because football is a relatively low scoring game there is high variance in actual goals scored, so having a measure of the quantity and quality of chances created can be a better predictor for long term performance.
