So, as Sturgeon has said, large public gathering not thought to significantly spread the virus - the consideration is around the demand on public services.

China factories now back to 65% strength, expected to be back to full strength within another week. Even the Dow coming back from the lows. Just need those pesky Russians to get back in bed with the Saudis and all will be well.

There is normally an app you can use, stickers on the side of the machine with the code to put in and pay on your phone.

Oh, yes I know. I use RingGo in a lot of places, but some car parks insist on cash.

The state of some of these replies. Why do people try to politicise everything. He's just sat through a Cobra meeting. He is acting on advice. The Scottish First Minister is in total agreement. We have few cases per 1 million population than almost any other major developed nation, certainly in Western Europe. What is it that people want, martial law?

Fairly simple - don't come on Satdee if you have flu like symptoms - listen to Clive instead - if you do come wear a scarf over your mouth and dont kiss anyone when we score

Tbf they seem to be trying to get the message across as clearly as possible that this is going to be extremely serious and last months.

Soon won't be testing people to see if they've got it (or....haven't got the resources to do so - which I get). They will only be dealing with the most poorly.

Exactly, but in a calm and measured way, with a clear staged approach. Just listening Chris Whitty, are people really doubting his credentials?

It’s a politician talking, so I guess there is a political angle. I think the confusion comes from the UK seemingly taking a different approach to most other major economies and also different to the advice from the WHO, which has been to ask countries to take drastic measures. Time will tell who is right I guess.

And before anyone starts liking the above it’s mainly aimed at the expert deniers

But also bear in mind that there are a lot of highly qualified people, some in the countries that have been more seriously affected, who are screaming for social distancing as soon as possible.

It’s possible they’re worrying too much about the inconvenience and behavioural science aspect. It will be interesting to see if the measures they’re talking about being weeks away come into effect in days if the number of cases remains exponential over the weekend.

Did you know it’s not really a problem everyone is over reacting but also it was created by the Chinese government to cause a recession or quell the HK riots and is a super weapon.
