You do get that even in this thread I've pointed out the obvious bollocks that there was no rent strike. I called it out as it was happening and it was then judged so in a court of law. It's SISU's fault that Wasps are here in the first place. Nobody here is oblivious to that. You still can't explain why Eastwood was able to distinguish between club and owner in 2014 but can't now. Or why he seemed to even understand the legal action from a business perspective but not now. Is it because of a moral epiphany or because the Wasps project is losing money hand over fist and crowds are dropping by the thousands? Why did Cllr Lucas talk of a 'pathway to ownership' when the finishing touches were being written on the Wasps deal?
Now there is awkward documentation that shows ACL were actively exploring the idea of relocating Wasps to Coventry pre rent strike. CCFC's fate will not end the legals. In fact it could lead to more down the road if the worst came to the worst and it drove the club out of the league. I want them ALL to piss off.

I think CCC, London Wasps, the CET and anybody else involved are absolutely shitting it. They tried to play the exact same game as last time when it worked for them but this time their opponents were more prepared and they've been left looking like wankers with nothing to fall back on. The number of people coming through on social media berating them is well beyond anything I though possible until after we're rid of Sisu. Hopefully this results in a change of tactic that stops our football club being fucked over again.

Its all about the money in the end. CCC should never have got involved in completing the stadium in the first place and incurring £20m debt that was loaded on ACL. They're still making the same mistake by propping up Wasps and Coombe Abbey etc. They need to keep out of private companies and let them sink or swim of their own accord.
I do wonder why there is still cross party unaninity in the Council. My guess is SISUs (secret as usual) site is slap bang in a Tory voting area and they can't support building there and I imagine that's a cynical ploy by SISU to make it unworkable and reflect ire at the council.
So why did Reid sit on the information he released yesterday. I'm guessing again that his source has now retired from some post in the council.
I'd like to see what was happening around the time of that relavatory email. Had negotiations with SISU got to a point where it was obvious the council were never going to strike a deal that suited them and they started to actively look elsewhere, had SISU renaged on some earlier promise? There is a lot of unquestioning anger on this forum, but I don't think anyone is innocent, they'va all got skeletons in cupboards.
Trouble is we are going to end up with..
a) the Sky Blues exiled for an indeterminate time relying on SISU pumping in money from time to time and almost certainly suffering another relegation after a few years.
b) Wasps limping on for an indeterminate time and maybe even surviving if they can pay off the bond and kick the can down the road.
c) the council being reelected and not changing course.
d) Higgs charity not being run to further its original aims.
Its all a bit shit.
Is there a solution that works if all parties swallow some pride. I do not see it, I've always thought it will be a fight to the death (of the sky blues or wasps).
If you want wasps out of coventry (I do, I do not care what happens to rugby clubs, their difficulties are their problem) then stop looking for a site for CCFC in Coventry and find one for Wasps in West London.
Not at home so have not time or space to look in to this properly, so this is only initial thoughts not cast in stone.
