I can assure you if Murphy had played like that he'd get dogs abuse from the fans. He's useless always has been and when Cole is available what do you suggest we do? Leave Kent out?

Unbelievable first half...absolutely destroyed them. Off the boil second half and a bit of an anti climax. Turner was immense.

Yes but look what time has done for all of them, he is not useless, he is a young kid that has not trained with this squad, not played a competitive game in months and would of been nervous to play at his home again. So give him a break and FFS enjoy the win instead of trying to validate you opinion on 20 mins of football.

By the way have you ever played,coached, scouted or been around pro athletes!!.

I'm going to get drunk, very drunk tonight. Just can't believe the season we are having, the best for decades.

if anyone fancies a very drunken row about SISU,or any other topic about two in the morning I'm up for it, though I might join in the daily Grendel and Tony going at each other thread later this evening.

i love being skyblue, we all so deserve this, so let's enjoy every second whilst it lasts

I'm not the manager Grendel, I don't get paid to make those decisions.

It's just ridiculous to get on a players back on the back of 20-30 mins performance when he's been injured/ill/not played alot of the past couple of season. Shmeee said he loves Bigi, just that he had a shocker. Fair enough.

And to be fair, Bigi hasn't always been useless, has he? You might not like him but he won Championship Apprentice of the Year. Needs some sort of talent to win something like that.

My irritation is aimed at hypocrisy. The fact is he was rubbish. The other fact is if Connor Thomas had come on and played like that he'd have been abused and rubbished beyond description. That's what really irks. For some reason this guy can be excused all the time but Thomas gets ritually abused and slated.

Double standards I think.

Oh and I think of the two Thomas is the better player and today confirmed that.

If he was rubbish, how did he win the Championship Apprentice of the Year? I'm not saying he's going to live of past glories but surely that means he wasn't rubbish? Granted that he probably isn't what he was due to illness and lack of playing time but he was never 'rubbish'.

And whose to say that TM wont get the best of of him? Seems to be working with some others...

Anyway G, I'm off for a few beers...don't let Bigis performance stand in the way of jubilation tonight. Crack open a cold one...

Today confirmed nothing other than you will never give this kid a fair crack no matter what he has done or did, you can have your opinion on who is better and i would not argue with that. I may have a different opinion, but my point to you is Thomas is playing at the highest level he will get to, Bigi has already played higher, is that his level i'm not sure time will tell.

Does this make them useless, no it means they have potential to improve, every single one of them as all are trying to reach the highest they possibly can. I would never claim or say any pro is bad as they have done more in the game than anyone on here i would imagine, but 20 mins and an opinion that pro managers disagree with you on makes me think they are a better guide to who has ability to reach a better level and who doesn't.

I dont think you can disagree with him, this is the first squad i have seen in years with depth and quality.. Plenty of options for TM and if Cole and Maddison get fit it will be a very hard team to stop if they can stick together.

How did Samuel play today or did Turner have him in his pocket

Had him in his pocket until turner went off. Second half we sat back i think to rest a fiew for tuesday
