Transfer Rumour Summer Transfer Window 2026 (18 Viewers)

We will be cooking soon, mark my words. Saw his clips on you tube and yeah. That can make an average player look like Maradona but I really like what I see.

Not saying we are linked or we are ever going to try and get him but I've seen Richarlison has not been included in the Spurs squad...it seems that we were not the only one who potentially struggled to move on players from our squad (Thinking Woolf, Bidwell etc) and atleast our players we struggled to move on won't be on astronomical wages

Think there was talk of him going to Saudi?

I mean he wrote a long post on social media slagging the club off.

That is crazy. There is no coming back from that surely.

It sounds like he will be a disruptive figure too then. Saudi window shuts tonight I believe so best hope they pack him off
He’s on £100k a week at Spurs, apparently turned down Everton holding out for more money when Spurs wanted him to accept their offer.

Bidwell is registered
He seemed to be initially, then Turner wrote he wasn't but he is still on premierleague.com as part of a 25 man 21 and over squad.
The fact the club announced Gboho's signing really confirms he will be registered for the Premier League.

Grimes will be the first of those 3 to be dropped.

We are building a squad, not just a first team.

Did we concentrate to much on midfield in the transfer window when we are weak in centre forward, right back and left back positions. We still don’t have a proven prem goal scorer in the squad

Yeah they’re easy to come by aren’t they.

And also, don’t think we concentrated on enough on the midfield. We need one more there.

What midfield?? We’re playing the same one we had last season!

If only someone had been telling us all we needed an experienced number 6 to play instead of Grimes...

It's bizarre to me that we have so much of that summer expenditure sat on the bench while last season's players demonstrate they're not at the level. These players were signed to be better than what we have, and frankly on today's evidence they can't be any worse.

Fucking Doug King.

No ambition.
We are not going to attract better players until like Brentford, Brighton and Bourneouth, you become an established PL side. That's the reality . If somehow we stayed up this season you attract an upgrade in players. I listened to Christian Purow talk on a blog about how when he was at Villa in 2020 they just stayed up the next season only signed 5 players but of a much better quality than previously..

Sunderland proved the importance of investing in midfield with Xhaka, Sadiki and Diarra. Their wingers were more punts with mixed success. We’ve signed a development player and a top Championship player in Hamer. Brighton glided through us at will.

I’d much rather have Hamer in for Grimes.

Let's be honest three of the new signings made big contributions to the defeat today so it's not just about that
Fernando do you think the championship players highlighted such as Grimes have played well in these first 4?
