So you think they will go into liquidation and fall down the football pyramid?

Kieran maguire said we were in debt over £100 million - we weren’t
Desperate measures?

Look at the reality of the situation instead of muddying the waters with someone I haven't mentioned.

You keep saying liquidation and the club owing IR? I see no evidence of the IR issuing a winding up order - there’s every possibility the owners will place them into administration and they get another points deduction but the notion they will be liquidated is for the birds

So how do you think they will turn it around?

Administration looks favourite but liquidation isn't out of the question.

Wipe the debts as per Sisu

To be fair it is a bit tinpot to wish them into liquidation. The home game this season and the one before last are two of the best games for atmosphere at the cbs.

Despite some of their fans claiming their not, they are our rivals and for that reason I want them to survive so we get more games like that in the future.

A little bit of pain never hurt anyone and looks like they’ve got rough times ahead.

Isn't it great how you always know more than the experts then disappear for a few days when you see the truth.
They will have to downsize, they will have to sell off the squad, but they aren’t going bust. Top will eventually see sense and get out, a white knight will appear and they’ll sort themselves out.

If Sheffield Wednesday can get themselves straight, Lesta definitely can.

What do they owe the taxman? Have they even issued a winding up order?
How many millions do you think they will owe the taxman from the last year alone? Then add a minimum of 15m for the running costs of the training ground. How much were their players on this season where they had to loan money to pay their wages.

How much will they bring in now they're a L1 side?

Don't be your normal contradictory self. I said the odds are administration but liquidation isn't out of the question. Would you like me to quote myself?

They need to raise an unbelievable amount of money and King Power doesn't have it. That's why they've been loaning it off Macquarie bank for years at a very high interest rate.

I’ve no idea how much if anything they owe the taxman and clearly you don’t either. I do know they haven’t issued any others against them

Been going on for a few years now. Macquirie bank is owed a lot of money and could in theory put the club into liquidation over it. They are owed a lot of millions just in interest alone. They have even mortgaged the money owed by clubs for players they sold.

You stated the bank could put the club into liquidation- how and why?

Welcome to the Grendel fan club as usual.

Wiping out a 9 figure sum will be done no problem I suppose.

What are you talking about now?
Calista asked where does this leave Maquarie?

I simply said the sum is chicken feed to them, which given they're worth tens of billions, it is.

So who have they got to sell? They're now a L1 side with serious financial problems. The players they paid a 9 figure sum for are now coming to the end of their contracts and those that are not are still draining money out of them. Winks is said to still be on 90k a week and has a year left on his contract.

So will they write off a massive amount of money without chasing it up as far as they can?

No bank writes off millions without pursuing its retrieval to the very end.
I never said they'd write it off, I was merely answering Calistas question.

FFS they will have zero control if it went into administration- it’s more likely they’ll lend more money to stay afloat!

Fatawu for a start will still probably go for an 8 figure amount.

Where does that leave Macquarie bank?

Yes they will chase the money. This is why there's a risk to the future of Leicester City. A more accurate answer to the question.

So they will lend countless millions more just so a bankrupt business can continue to lose countless millions more each year?

That’s what they’d do if they raised a winding up order. The administrator would decide on what debt can be repaid and they’d get less than a penny in the pound

To rephrase my question, what stance are Macquarie likely to take in an administration scenario?
It's hard to say. They would probably go for what would be the best for them. None of us know how the contracts are worded or what guarantees were offered but they certainly would have covered themselves as much as possible. If liquidation would give them more money that's the way they would go.

If administration is declared they have no take on it it’s down to administrators

Liquidation means they get nothing you clown

The top clown is back.

Explain one thing. If putting a company into liquidation means you get nothing why does any company ever get put into liquidation?

it declares itself insolvent - how can any other business put another into liquidation?

The problem for Sheffield Wednesday was not being able to pay football debts. This has given them about 40 points deductions over 2 seasons.

Leicester have loaned against future money coming in from players sold. They don't have the money now for the installments for the players they bought as they loaned against these payments, just like they did against their parachute payments. These loans also come at a cost of nearly 10% PA.

So yes they have football debts that comes with a points deduction as well as a points deduction for going into administration. The best they can hope for is -30 points next season unless something happens that nobody knows about before then.

Whatever happens it is going to be squeaky bum time for them.

If someone puts them into liquidation like HMRC or Macquarie bank they will be saved by putting themselves into administration?

You're bloody clueless.

How will the bank achieve that and for what purpose and how could they ? Just windmilling now.
