See I don’t want them to go bust which is a potential given they have no future incomings.Just read that, what a thoroughly enjoyable read![]()
Well done BBC. It's only taken you a year to catch up with general knowledge that they're fooked![]()

Or do like we did and have Yeovil at home when you have an easy game against Yeovil when chasing a playoff place and lose 2-6.See I don’t want them to go bust which is a potential given they have no future incomings.
I want them to drop into league two, and have the fans watch them getting beat 1-0 on a November Tuesday night at the king power against York City, having to watch them get beat my some national league north side in the 1st round of the FA Cup, and Forest U21s in the checkatrade.
watching them flounder in the lowest league with the little hope that they may one day return to the championship whilst watching not Harry Winks but some random 35 year old who was a stalwart at Northampton town just not give a crap.
that’s the ideal scenario for me
I don't get the gloating about another clubs issues - its all just a bit pathetic to me
Yer but this is Leicester G.
Finance expert on radio this morning said they still owe £81m in unpaid transfer fees![]()
How long do they get to pay that lot off and if they don't more points deduction coming.![]()
It used to be Walsall, Notts County when we were in their league and next season it'll be Villa + whoever gets the most dodgy penalties. It's just football! We are obsessed with them, Birmingham, Ipswich, Wrexham, Southampton
Its all a bit tinpot to me

2bf - I genuinely do have concern over the financial issues, watching them drop down the leagues however amuses me. I have a few friends who Are Leicester fans and the shit I’ve had over the last 10 or so years have been annoying. I have Arsenal supporting friends aswell - that’s just as funI don't get the gloating about another clubs issues - its all just a bit pathetic to me
Not this time. They're the sort of club that would probably find it relatively easy to find a buyer.
At some point they'll enter administration and come out of it with a new owner. They're highly unlikely to cease to exist. Not this time.
Some time ago Top had to.put a lot of money into Leicester. This is a loan. It's similar to what Chansiri did with Sheffield Wednesday. If it's administration next they get hit with a 15 point deduction for next season. If the offer that comes in for Leicester isn't sufficient they would get hit with another big points reduction. If they don't pay all football debts they get hit with another points deduction.
Sheffield Wednesday are having their points deductions spread over 2 seasons. Leicester would get theirs over 1 season. On top of that they would need a large amount of money just to keep going. L1 rules are they can only use 60% of any money gifted to a club for squad expenses. So this puts another 40% on top of what is needed just to keep going.
So someone would have to put a big 9 figure number in just to take over a club getting hit with a big points deduction in L1. Then you have to add to this the purchase price.
If this wasn't enough their ground and also training ground are held in different companies. The training ground costs them between 15m and 20m a year to run. This is paid by the football club. A sale of the training ground wouldn't be easy as there are restrictions that can happen to the land. If a club like Forest came along they wouldn't offer much as it would be a distressed sale. Forest aren't doing that well in the Prem either.
So that's administration.
Macquirie bank are owed countless millions. How much do they owe to the taxman? Either of them could go down the road of liquidation if no owner with less sense than money comes along.
We were in a bad place with SISU but they paid the bills and had nothing to put debts against. Top has been kicking the can down the road for years now and it looks like they've hit the end of the road.
Would any sane person put a 9 figure sum into a L2 side that looks like becoming a L2 side?
Do you know the situation with Macquirie bank or the taxman? At some point they'll enter administration and come out of it with a new owner. They're highly unlikely to cease to exist.
It's not gloating, it's karma, I should know i worked amongst them for 30 years, some of them are spiteful twats.
Do you know the situation with Macquirie bank or the taxman?
It's nice to know you're so sure of their future when most of their own supporters are shitting themselves and are now talking about rising from the ashes.
