Thinking about it - Bidwell, Lati, Gyökeres, Grimes, Rushworth - all ex-Swansea to one degree or another. Maybe signing Tymon, Vipotnik and Cabango wouldn't be such a bad idea! :D:ROFLMAO::unsure:

Tats doesn't have pace to burn but he makes up for a bit of that in trickery. He won't get the living shit battered out of him every week in the prem either. We will need another right winger to push him but I think he'll be ok. Share you concerns about EMC but happy to be proved wrong of course. Personally think Haji might be our left winger in the prem and someone else comes in up top.

Haji hasn’t really got that trickery or cross in him that EMC does.

Hes a striker but just a hot and cold one

There is a home grown rulle for premier squads. 8 of the 25 man squad have to been within an english academy system for 3 years i beleive

someone regardless of age or nationality, who has been registered with a club affiliated to the FA in England or Wales for 36 months or 3 seasons, before their 21 st birthday.

Sign Monga, a hugely talented Coventry kid Leicester snatched from us when we were at a low-ebb, for basically nothing. He is due to sign his first professional contract in July, even though he has played in the Premiership - come on home.

Make the statement that local talent now stays and grows with us. Sorry if it has been said already.

Doug abc Frank are united by ambition.

We won’t start with the team from last year but nor will we rip it up abc start again.

Rushworth ( hopefully )
Milan
Thomas
Grimes
Onyeka
Tats
Rudi

Will all play lots of minutes next season I’m sure ….
That's a weird autocorrect to change and to abc.

James Maddison.
We need a No. 10 to compete with Rudoni (or play with).
He'd need to take a wage cut, but I bet there's some desire from his side.
We'd be rolling the dice a little based on his latest injury, but he's played conistently over 30 games a season 2018-2025.
He's not Keith O'Neil.

And you suppose he would be happy earning 25% of his current £170k weekly wages?

His last 3 years have been blighted my injury …. The latest one is a huge injury …..

Over the years we've had a mixed bag of experienced signings but they've mostly been decent unless someone can find more examples of poor transfers.

Good Ronald Nilsson, Wise, Don Huchinson, Carlton Palmer, Gordon Strachan, Kenny Samson, Gary MacAllister, Gerry Francis, Cyrille Regis, Kevin Richardson, Steve Staunton. I'm sure there are many others.

Bad or disappointing Tim Sherwood, Yakubu :ROFLMAO: , Martin Jol (didn't seem to get much game time, never saw him), Bob Latchford(ditto), Kenny Hibbitt(ditto), Terry Butcher (shit manager too), Colin Hendry, Dean Holdsworth, Craig Hignett.

BBC have an article on Premier League Players out of contract this summer. Cant see that many would be of huge interest?

I would realistically take:

Rico Henry
Mykolenko
Michael Keane
Ryan Sessegnon
Emil Krafth
Adama Traore

A few defenders there I know but we'll need to strengthen everywhere if we want to stay up!

Hignett was a loan and actually scored a couple of important goals in his 8 appearances. I thought he was decent but he then suffered a hairline fracture of the leg.

Hermann Hreidarsson was a duff signing. Looked way off the pace, injured after two games never to be seen again.

Gary Collier who we paid decent money for at the time played about one game.

Freddie Eastwood was a terrible purchase and wasn’t cheap.

I would say add in Peter Ramage, Kevin Kilbane, Darius Henderson, Arjaan De Zeeuw for bad experienced players

Indifferent I would say Stephen Wright and Joe Cole (On Pitch not great but sure he was good off the pitch)

Good the midfielder we got before he went to the US in our dark days of league one but I forgot his name (Only good because of the times we were in)

Yea i didnt know hed said it tbh ,.but ive always rated mason clark and believe he has alot of attributes ready made for the premier league , could be wrong

Same. He's not really a winger who relies on pace, but I think his strength and skill could work in the Premier League.
Chips in with quite a few goals as well

I think Torp lacks consistency and pace. He is a good set piece merchant but that isn’t really enough. It would not surprise me if we keep him but I see him as been mainly on the bench next year.

As much as I love him and enjoy watching him, I think Tats might find it hard to step up because of his lack of pace as a winger. But I am sure he will get the chance to prove me wrong.

I think Mason-Clark will really struggle.
I agree with EMC, I think he is going to really struggle in the PL. He's too slow on the ball at times, and makes a lot of poor decisions in possession. He's not actually that quick either, and I think full backs will be quicker and as strong as him in the PL.

I think Sakamoto might be the surprise package, he's got a really good footballing brain, good technical ability and already has PL work rate.

Rico Henry would be ideal for us but think his club have triggered a one year option on him. We could still bid for him obviously but probably cheaper younger options from abroad.
