MmmmmmCWR needs axing like the rest of the BBC. Full of Paedos and sex freaks.

He’s 100% right.
CWR while not being all that is a lot better than opposition stations.
I had to resort to Sheffield United commentary during our win there and they praise everything their team does and talk about how awful the away team was.
Example being a couple of 50/50s, when they clattered one of our players the commentary was "[insert Sheff Utd player] was a bit cheeky there left a bit in" and when we fouled them it was "Disgraceful by Coventry there, the ref needs to get ahold of this"
Local radio is always going to look a bit amateurish compared to the glitzy Sky Spots stuff people are accustomed to now but I think ours isn't too bad.
What's for tea? What would you ask the players after the game?
Someone doesn't remember when the commentary was on another channel a few seasons back. Was horrifically bad.CWR needs axing like the rest of the BBC
I would expect it has been very tough for him coming from a promotion team into a leaky defence I and would expect Woolfenden thought there would be more game time.
CWR just isn’t very good these days. Gurney has a massive ego. Lorna acts too much like a fan. Oggy is Oggy and doesn't act like a fan.
CWR used to be class back in the day. They used to let the right charcters on the phone in.
They wont let them on now its gone all woke, like this forum.
Ones its woke there is no fun in anything.
Yep particularly enjoyed him saying it was ok to pull off the ball boys at half timeClive and Oggy were a brilliant team and I think Oggy offers some decent insight (along with the odd error obviously). Rob clearly doesn't want to say 'bender' on the BBC so I have no reason why he keeps saying the fans are singing the Onyeka song rather than just letting it play out in the background!
Same thing reading out texts that are daft - get someone screening them so he's not in that position.
Generally the coverage is a lot better than most from what I've heard but inferior to some as you'd expect.
Clive was so measured and delivered some iconic lines with Vik's goal being the best for me. Hopefully Rob can find the right words to deliver some memorable lines of his own as this season promises so much.
Exactly why texts need to be screened rather than the presenter reading them out live!Yep particularly enjoyed him saying it was ok to pull off the ball boys at half time
In totally different news but someone mentioned the Sky pundits. Who do you reckon they'll get on to cover our games (if we make the prem) as they seem to like to have one link to the club.
Can't think of anyone who could do it who they have in their studio regularly
That makes sense. I suppose Morrison has done championship games and Sherwood was all over TV around his sacking at Spurs so no doubt they will dust him off then.I'm sure I've seen Clinton Morrison do it. There's also Tim Sherwood I think![]()
Its definitely gone massively down hill.I can't listen to the match coverage on CWR anymore. It's dumbed down, lowest common denominator shite probably manufactured for the 15,000 happy clappers who supported Liverpool before 2023. Alos, Bailey and Gurney are irritating beyond belief. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to get rid of Clive and replace him with these 2 clowns?
state of that hand- nightmare fuel
15 minutes cities woke nonsenseIs this the thread to complain wildly about the BBC while failing to be able to name anything better?
If we’re going full Facebook comments section maybe we can fit something about cycle lanes in too?
Was it ever revealed as to whether Clive was pushed out or left on his own accord?
If it wasn’t clear above, personally I find it fantastic that I’m able to pay 150 euros a season and watch every game with local Cov comms on iFollow - best money I spend every year.

I was thinking Robbie Keane if he isn't managing anywhere in future or potentially Henderson (I know it was just a loan spell) when he retires
Woolf is more than entitled to have his say. It's not a big deal
