Ah hes deleted it. Basically said CWR were misleading for clicks and his whole interview he said it wasn't about him, it was about the team.

Basically a bit stupid to even hint at introducing any degree of controversy on the cusp of going up. Just leave it settled. Will it have much of an influence? Probably not. Should they risk it? No.

I mean….if there was genuine controversy afoot then it would be their responsibility to report on it no matter what. Their job is to report on the team. Pulling stories out of thin air is another story of course.

CWR just isn’t very good these days. Gurney has a massive ego. Lorna acts too much like a fan. Oggy is Oggy.
Lorna has left now. Shes doing the breakfast show. Thank fuck. Her input in the lead up to the Stoke game was a conversation with oggy, and she said "theyre now doing the warm up where they lean on each other's shoulders and swing their legs back and forth"! A) Who cares what fucking warm up is happening on the pitch. B) What the fuck sort of input even is that? Absolutely fucking mental. But then, what do we expect from.the woman who did a podcast about how good each player looked in shorts role reverse that scenario....

Post not showing but Lampard praised Woolfendens attitude in his post match interviews Saturday.

I’m afraid their match day commentary borders on the irritating. As someone else said Gurney is just a fan with a microphone ( has to keep trying to tell you what the City fans are singing) and Oggy honestly keeps forgetting stuff like which player is which and who we are playing.

I personally find it absolutely cringeworthy how they always bang on about how fantastic the support is. Particularly Gurney when interviewing Lampard stating the same thing over and over in such a self-righteous manner…’and just a word on the fans, I know we say it every week…’

Would actually love for Lampard to just say ‘Actually, Rob, I thought they were shit!’

I prefer some of the fan produced vlogs etc these days. I never tune in to CWR unless, like Saturday, it’s my only option for match coverage. The coverage of Wasps still rankles with me too. Perhaps unreasonably because they were here but we football fans are a super loyal, emotional bunch

Having not seen the content of the original post, but putting 2 and 2 together, I think maybe Gurney, (who I'm not a huge fan of), has been thrown under the bus here by whoever does their socials.

Whoever has come away with a negative take from the post match interviews of Lampard and Wolfenden, which were hugely positive, really has made a rod for CWRs back.

Really really stupid thing to do when Lampard literally said how well Woolf (and others I think) trained when out of the team. Players all want to play of course but it seems like there's a brilliant togetherness in the group yet CWR pulled THAT from it.

At one point either us or them were attacking and rather than describe what was going on he had to finish the same thing he says every single game about Oggy and the 1 goal. He's better than he was earlier in the season, but I'd much rather have Clive back.

After the Fans Forum fiasco, is it a surprise that those from the club can be short with them?

I can't listen to the match coverage on CWR anymore. It's dumbed down, lowest common denominator shite probably manufactured for the 15,000 happy clappers who supported Liverpool before 2023. Alos, Bailey and Gurney are irritating beyond belief. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to get rid of Clive and replace him with these 2 clowns?

Oggy has got away with it for so long because of Clive. I absolutely hate Oggy's comments on Cov. He thinks he comes across as impartial but he puts on his 'impartiality' so much that I genuinely think he wants us to fail. So negative and comes across like he supports the other team most of the time (I get he doesn't support Cov).

So it is something he actually said then?
He wasn’t trying to upset the apple cart.

It was a very measured interview by him.

CWR interviews are poor. I know Lorna Bailey is a fan, but her stint on the City games was poor. She was too close to her emotions and was negative even during games we won.
