The rules are there.

Or how else have Birmingham got away with spending an absolute fortune like £15m on Stansfield alone when in League One?

You don't understand the rules - you have claimed Wrexham are breaking these rules - they are entirely clean on Championship regulations.

Birmingham in the end will do what Wrexham have done if they have to - and what Steve Gibson does - and create share equity to wipe out the losses to ensure they meet the rules

No chance are they coming out of that unbeaten. Wouldn't even be surprised if they lose their next one against Wrectum.
Just been looking at their fixtures:

Yep 7 games in 22 days, taking them up to March 14th.

After that run of 7, their next 5 are:
Millwall (H)
Southampton (A)
Brum (H)
Norwich (A)
Middlesbrough (H)

Been saying it for a while and it obviously relies on us pulling our fingers out a bit now but I think Ipswich are in more bother than some realise. Fixtures are stacked and look a bit rough, I'm not sure the season long expectation that they'll walk into the top 2 will end up as reality. I hope not anyway.

Is Nunez back for them yet? He’s a big miss.

Do they not have the depth to rotate for all these games?
they do but the quality drops on field and rolling teams over is harder. There biggest problem is like ourselves is every team has got something to play for. Leicester will be so difficult for the top 6 teams to navigate. Glad we done our bit on them.

we have got to think that every game we win then Ipswich,Mboro,Millwall & Hull have to win as well!

I expect that Rowett will focus heavily on tightening things up at the back first and foremost. They really need Jordan James back sooner rather than later too, doesn't sound like he's close though.

A win Saturday would be beautiful ahead of a tough game at Sheff Utd. 4 or 6 a dream, 3 would do I guess

He’s a sensible appointment and will keep them up, IMO. That squad is more than capable of taking points off Ipswich and Borolona.
Its crazy. I think Fatawu might be the best player in the division. Not necessarily based on current form but in terms of the career he should have ahead. James is a class act. The rest... a lot of overpaid has beens for sure but should never be relegated, even with -6.

is Rowett a good appointment given how it has ended the last few jobs he has had?

It's different to any other "relegation fight" job as it's not making teams hard to beat etc, but trying to get a very talented but mentally couldn't give a fuck squad to care.

I think King probably would have kept them up as their squad for all it's wage thievery is still a million miles better than any of the other teams down there.

I think he has got a better squad to work with than he has ever had at his other clubs! It's all down to the players and if they can get on with him if so he has enough nouse to get them away from the relegation places as he will cure the leaky defence. 🤞🏻 he takes points off Ipswich and Mboro

A better squad but one that doesn't give a rats anymore, there's a chance they look at him and think "who the hell are you?".

It's not nailed on he makes them better

I think this is the problem.

Trying to galvanise a squad, which for the most part seems indifferent at best towards the club they're playing at is an incredibly difficult dynamic to deal with and a nightmare scenario for any manager going into a new club.

Rowett is more than capable of keeping them up as he makes teams hard to beat which in the short term is what's needed.

But whether the squad actually responds to him is a completely different scenario altogether. Which isn't helped at all by the fact he isn't a 'name'.

It would be also nice if 4th from bottom was 6 points more than 3rd from bottom so they cant whine about points deduction
