I'd say the use of the word also suggests that all those listed names are interested alongside Gladbach in SanchezActually a good point. I went with the former but you might be right. It's very unclear.

Transfer Markt have him as being worth £6m and at his peak £10m. He must have some credence to have those figures quoted. I have no idea what Brau was listed as thoughAs much as I hope we are, this article smells of typical journalist bs tagging any rumour with our name as we are flavour of the month.
Not sure how I feel about signing another LB from a European second division either, too many Brau similarities
Grendel isnt/wasnt a troll (except on Wasps forums) Just forthright opinions. Some correct, some rubbish. Never as tiresome as this Parks fella.
I was referring to the Sanchez fella. If its the Gladbach guy that we are linkeed to then that seems slightly better.Transfer Markt have him as being worth £6m and at his peak £10m. He must have some credence to have those figures quoted. I have no idea what Brau was listed as though
Best way. I hate the maybes, because we then hear other clubs may be chasing the same player too.Hoping we've got a couple of things bubbling away that no one is aware of.
Jesus it’s like explaining business to a child.
All of the proceeds from the sale of Hamer and Vik were Doug’s assets as the sole owner. He chose to reinvest it all and more.
Many owners would have derisked their investment by giving the club a third of the transfer income and then personally banked the rest.
Doug has had some luck for sure but he’s made a lot of his own luck by making smart decisions.
Some people just can’t accept it when someone is successful, they just always have to be slightly bitter about it. What a sad way to live.
Yeh there's nothing worse than a link then 2 days later it says fucking PSG or whoever are interested tooBest way. I hate the maybes, because we then hear other clubs may be chasing the same player too.
Just much rather hear we have nabbed someone and it's done and dusted
No fee due after 23, so they won’t be due anything.
Luca Netz mate, just typed him into tranfer feed , and his current club is Gladbach an says his contract is running out in 2026, value at 6 million but at his peak was valued at 10 million. So which one are we interested in?
Luca Netz or Fabio Di Michele Sanchez?
Reads like the latter to me.
The club hadn't sold the players when he took over. He inherited a club that had zero cash flow.Doug is only our owner cos he shared an office with Sisu let’s be honest here. He’s invested virtually nothing. He’s mortgaged the ground by dint of not being Sisu and he’s inherited a club with £50m cash to spend which has bought him a promotion. He must be the luckiest football club owner of all time.
Have you read somewhere else about Netz? Or just inferred that from the tweet?Luca Netz mate, just typed him into tranfer feed , and his current club is Gladbach an says his contract is running out in 2026, value at 6 million but at his peak was valued at 10 million.
In the past he was linked with AC Milan, Lazio and Spurs
I put his name into tranfer feed, with his value being 6 million/contract running out and at its peak his value was 10 million plus his current club is Gladbach it's sounds like it is Netz not the other guyHave you read somewhere else about Netz? Or just inferred that from the tweet?

Don’t worry I wasn’t sure and had to look it up. I think Lampard could get another level out of Neil and develop him. You’re right.

Apologies.
Id be happy enough with Neil or Onyeka to be fair.Don’t worry I wasn’t sure and had to look it up. I think Lampard could get another level out of Neil and develop him.
Hi DT-RIm judging by the amount of likes you've got on this awful, way off the mark post, im gonna be in the minority here. But I couldn't care less, im gonna say my piece regardless.
Whilst I agree, Doug is relatively skint in comparison to most other owners and dont think he should spunk his families inheritance buying us players, the rest of you post is (How can I say it without being condescending) .. stupid.....
Speak for yourself. Fans who've only ever put £2000 max??? For those of us that do home and away, have kids, STs, shirts etc, its normally double that plus some every season. Let alone MAXIMUM!
And to say that if we go up its DK and FL achievement.... again, speak for yourself. You may only have joined the band wagon in the last season or 2, but there are a good amount of us that still went in the L1 and L2 days. Home and away. Rain or shine. And still spent more than your £2000 MAX for L2 football a season. And its those fans that kept the club alive. Its because of THOSE FANS, not Doug, or Frank, THOSE FANS, that there's still even a club now for you to jump on the bandwagon of. This is as much the achievement of those fans as it is Dougs. Players come and go, managers come and go, owners come and go. Fans are there (well some of us were anyway) til the death. Regardless of what league. And its because of those fans Doug even had a club to buy!

Re: A) I think it might just be about adding a different profile to the midfield. Someone who's more of a ball-winner with the athleticism that Torp lacks - which is what a guy like Onyeka brings.Changing the subject, are the vibes that?
a) Much as Torp has improved and much as he contributes, he (and for that matter Eccles) are perceived as being not quite good enough. Good players, but not quite good enough in a tough competitive business. Torp is replaced by the Brentford fella or Saddle's hot tip and drops back to being a squad player? I like Torp but I get the argument that he is not a dominating midfielder.
b) Brau was a duff purchase. Not good enough for left back or left wing and we rarely play wing backs. And if we do, Da Silva is better at that role. Brau should be added to quite a long list dating back to league 1 days of European 'bargains' that have not worked.

He's put £30m net in by the end of June 2024, this is before any subsequent net player purchases. He is still covering the club's losses as well. By no means is it all down to him but he's overseen the club grow its revenue year on year by 45% which is tremendous really.Exactly. Shmmeee is missing the (major) point that by King being willing to cover cash flow and some running costs, he’s managed to maximise the asset base which in turn he has reinvested that in the team. SISU wouldnt have got anywhere near the sales value for the players sold as they weren’t willing to do this
There’s no doubt he’s had some luck but nobody can surely question the fact he’s run the club professionally for the first time in donkeys years. He would’ve also had to invest personal cash into the club and to buy the stadium even if there’s a secured loan/mortgage.
Let’s not forget the massive bollocks to make the managerial changes, which could’ve gone horribly wrong but appear to have turned out well. All luck though innit
I'm gonna get this put on a T Shirt....their success is my adulation not my success.
I find it hilarious when people say things like ‘King has invested nothing’. It’s literally available on a public website for all to see. It will likely be even more than the figure you quoted when accs to May 2025 are published. He's put £30m net in by the end of June 2024, this is before any subsequent net player purchases. Highly doubt it's Netz when he's a fairly regular starter in the bundesliga.Luca Netz mate, just typed him into tranfer feed , and his current club is Gladbach an says his contract is running out in 2026, value at 6 million but at his peak was valued at 10 million.

Where on earth are you getting "£50m cash" from lolAll the lame insults and no points lads out for this one. Might even unblock Grendel so I get the full set.
All true but so is that some of the decisions he has taken have been brave and correctDoug is only our owner cos he shared an office with Sisu let’s be honest here. He’s invested virtually nothing.
