I would think most if not all “pro” Palestinians mob type would see the peoples of Iran struggles against a tyrant as the same thing as the Palestine peoples struggle with a tyrant. Just because one of the tyrants happens to be a Muslim doesn’t tend to change your basic belief of people being able to live their lives in peace and without persecution regardless of the architects of that persecution.
Iranian people in my experience are some of the friendliest and most giving people in the world. I’m not talking about the government and the remaining true believers in the Islamic revaluation, I’m talking about ordinary people of Iran. I for one welcome the removal of the dictatorship and Iran finding democracy. People forget or are too young to remember that prior to the Islamic know but Iran was a a modern progressive country where Christians and Muslims lived peacefully and people were not forced to live to a hard extreme doctrine of Islam. The Islamic revolution was a Trojan horse to overthrow the Shah with promises of democracy.
You really don’t seem to understand that this isn’t about a closed mindset of these are our people everyone else is the enemy, it’s not an absolute. It’s a basic principle of doing right by the majority. The people of Iran do not deserve the government they have, the people of Palestine deserve to not be bombed indiscriminately by an invading force looking to cleanse them so they can take their land. This really isn’t the gotcha you think it is. By a long shot.
When the Brits ruled???
Im not sure we can or the USA can be the worlds policeman even if we had something worthwhile to share
You can’t guarantee what comes out is any better than what was there without long term commitment money resources and time. Trump won’t be interested in that
oh and compared to Islamic state we do have something on offer in a rules based secular society but it feels like the majority want to go back to a historian Christian identity that gave us institutional abuse and abuses of power
Aleppo pictures from the 70’s are beautiful it’s well what’s been done by the Oxford graduate bashir

the world seems to be headed on a course that isn’t nice
