Imagine being able to rotate Philogene and Jack Clarke though, should be doing much better

Bonkers in a sense that their 2 best players play in the same position so aren’t on the pitch together most of the time.

It's recruitment of a Birmingham fashion, buying players because they can rather than with a real plan.

[Cally Fedora]

Nothing to fear. Let’s just smash them.

Two top players in this division. Sometimes having too many star quality players is a bad thing. They all want to play and need consistent minutes to hit top form.

I hope our squad building is better to be honest.

Their forum is very amusing. Basically we are poor (and lucky) to be where we are and they are great (and unlucky) to be where they are. Amazing what a season in the PL does for a fanbase.

Hope we don't turn into entitled pricks like that if we do happen to go up and - most likely - come down again.

Any neutral would prob say same about us if viewed our forum.

Every game is a must win. Every game we should smash the opposition. Every game the ref is against us etc

[Liquid Gold]

I do feel like the players will be particularly up for this.

If we can win this it puts the poor result in the away game to bed and so far ahead of them we’re basically out of reach.

December 9th 1966...CCFC 5 Ipswich 0 ...Bobby Gould hatrick one of the first friday night game and the new score board was up an running
Remember a photo on the back page of the Daily Express showing 999...and the headline was no help for Ipswich ....or something similar wish i could get it up on a site somewhere..
Oh for the same score tonight

If I remember right it was hissing it down. Kin horrible night weather wise.
Result made up for it.

Your username clearly checks out! Respect

[Gynnsthetonic]

I am feeling the same. 3 nil and Rudoni to shine and score.

I am much more worried about the Charlton and Birmingham games to be honest and that is simply down to concerns of tiredness, due to the small squad .

I reckon we will win tonight and then slip up against either Charlton or Birmingham.

But Charlton and Birmingham will have a similar problem but worse players to choose as back-up. We'll be fine

[Brighton Sky Blue]

Waiting’s the worst part ennit

The illness piece is still a massive factor too.

MVE played more like himself last game despite clearly struggling. Sakamoto was pretty quiet, which is unusual this season, especially at home.

If those two are firing and EMC continues his form, it should once again cement others being fearful of us. Running ability from both sides is hard to defend again. Especially if Rudoni and/or Wright/Simms turn up.

It’s nice to be that team, albeit we still sometimes build up other teams too much on this forum.

Ipswich may or may not have illness in the camp but we won't know for sure until the teams are out.

Before the Southampton game it was basically the same until people started reposting the same "story", we shall see.

Give Typhoid Milan the armband today, get him on handshake duty just to make sure.

[Great_Expectations]

One of my friends has a ticket in Block 5 today. I sit in the East Stand.

I’d like to have a beer with him pre game. Going to assume that isn’t possible in a concourse area anywhere?

[Sky_Blue_Dreamer]

Knowing our luck it's a totally different illness and we'll end up having a second wave of illness.

[eastwoodsdustman]

Their fans are probably the most deluded and gloaty of any I have seen this season (along with Southamptons idiots who just got really angry), when we were coming away from Portman road a few weeks ago.

Most of them genuinely thought that they deserved to win 3-0. No thought of the red card(s), soft fouls, us being the better team for an hour whatsoever.

I hope we stick 4 past them tonight and they have a shit journey home with a few road closures to boot .

I realise that this post shows that I am still a bit bitter about my day out in Ipswich. I also got a parking ticket on the day.

[Saddlebrains]

Is this rumour about them missing a few bollocks then?

Also is Dasilva back?

Nowt on their forum other than the original tweet

[BananaFlats]

Dasilva has another 2 games of his 3 game ban to go, today being 1 of those.

It's 3 matches for serious foul play, which is what Dasilva would have had. He's only missed one so far

The concourse area is connected except for the South Stand so you will be able to enter the ground and meet in the concourse area if you wanted. Your seats are a fair bit away from each other mind, as block 5 requires walking along the entire length of the West Stand. Unless there are any changes that I am not aware of, only sat in the West Stand twice before.

My recollection of that 5-0 match is of a pitch covered in snow. Memory might be playing tricks though!

Dasilva out.
Don't know anything about them missing a few bollocks

Yes, potentially back for Blues on Sunday.

Thank you!

Does the concourse run under corporate though?

[SleepyGinger]

Can’t see how dasilva ban would be anything other than 3 games

[HadjiChippo]

I’d assume Dasilva’s is a 3 match suspension but flashscore have no mention of him being missing due to a red card but they have got Azeez correctly down as suspended for Millwall. Weird one.

[skyblue_55]

When Middlesbrough have a psycho like Hayden Hackney just getting a yellow , for ABH , Dasilva’s should be rescinded !

[chiefdave]

Does the concourse run under corporate though?

it does but there's only one kiosk, right at the end by block 5

[SIR ERNIE]

We'll be getting at them from the first whistle.
1-0 at 10mins
2-0 at 25mins

no it doesn’t you can walk around without problem

Have a good feeling about tonight's game. Fancy Wright to end his dry spell and get a couple tonight.

[Johhny Blue]

Surprised at the amount of anti Ipswich feeling on here. Pretty inoffensive club really (in fact as an older fan I really respect them for the way they challenged Liverpool in the early 1980s and were one of the first teams to bring in very good players from Europe).

Obvs hope we beat them tonight, but I would not be put out at all if they were promoted alongside us...

And they warmed up John O’Rourke for us.

[Sky Blue Goblin]

Have seen the illness rumours spreading on X.

Also just seen that one of the players didn’t play against Wednesday due to sickness

[coop]

If Jack Clarke plays for them I hope it isn't Bidwell as he will get run ragged but hopefully Wright has his scoring boots on and scores a few early ones.
