Thanks for checking I was going to check my own assertion cause I wasn’t sure what happened if it missed. Makes sense

No and the Top 4 was v much established between Leicester, Ipswich, Leeds plus Southampton and despite the bumps in the road for all those teams, that Top 3 was unchanged. Ipswich and Leicester had an impeccable 52 and 55 point tally after 22 games. When Lesta and Ipswich had a double digit lead on the chasing pack at the same stage 2 years ago did anyone really think they'd be overtaken?
would only happen if we collapse - another 40 points will be enough for usNo and the Top 4 was v much established between Leicester, Ipswich, Leeds plus Southampton and despite the bumps in the road for all those teams, that Top 3 was unchanged. You can't underestimate just how far off the back most teams are at this stage of the season. For context, PNE in 3rd place are closer to Swansea (19th) than us at the top and would've been 6th on last years points tally.
This time last year, Sheff U were top with 47 points, followed by Leeds (42), Burnley (41) and Sunderland (40). It's only ourselves and Boro who have surpassed 40 points by 21 games and even Boro have so far overperformed the xG table quite significantly and my expectation is that they will slow down. The idea that Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich will all overturn a 13-17 point deficit with 25 games remaining is just not plausible.
That's a 5-6 game swing and that presumes they will win each and every game we slip up.
How very dare you start being sensible this close to Christmas????? are you trying turn us all into believers, or what???No and the Top 4 was v much established between Leicester, Ipswich, Leeds plus Southampton and despite the bumps in the road for all those teams, that Top 3 was unchanged. I’m a believer of the cause. We’re going up this year! Get a few signings in Jan just to shore up the squad and keep plugging away and win our home games. How very dare you start being sensible this close to Christmas????? are you trying turn us all into believers, or what???

The calendar year performance is meaningless in the grand scheme of things, all that matters is the games in each season.
Then don't play a high flat line be a bit staggered and don't even try the offside trap.Have to watch the balls over the top because our 2 slouches won't catch Armstrong for sure
Nobody has said it will be easy even though they lost to Norwich last game and that was only the second win for Norwich since August.
It's simple. We have as much chance of winning as losing. I'm expecting a high scoring game.
We haven’t had a three game weekAt the start of the season, I thought the away games against Ipswich, Leicester, Southampton, Boro & Preston (no particular order) were the toughest games of the season.
Only one more to go and I would be happy with a point but I see no reason we can't take all three.
I'm glad this game is on Saturday after a week break, rather than Wednesday or the end of a 3 game week.
We are the best side in the league and we will have our best starting 11 (valid argument for BTA) fit and ready. So I think it suits us more than them.

I’ve seen that from him before. Out of nowhere, he can eat up the ground vs someone you thought was quicker. But not that often.Thomas had one surprisingly fast sprint back on Saturday
