I said if we get to Jan in top 2 I'd fancy our chances a while back. I think that's almost impossible not to be now isn't it?

Nah Millwall win tomorrow and third is 7 points off with 4 games until Jan

A good away point against a team in the PO places, and at a ground we dont do well at, but ultimately only got themselves to blame for not getting all 3.

Piss poor decision making at crucial times...
And defensively switched off, again at a crucial time.

Fair play to Heckingbottom. Proactive switch to go 2 up top and it paid off for them.
Experience subs there. Nothing to lose, so put two up top to ease the pressure on defence a bit.
could have backfired thought. 🙂

What more did you want him to do? They had 10 men for a whole half, make our fan base look like complete twats when you start crying about the referee

He had no choice but to send him off. :ROFLMAO: It was clear cut.

It doesn't change that he killed the game every time they wanted to. He gave imaginary free kicks against EMC and KKH, missed a clear booking on Eccles that forced him to go off.

Imagine that making somebody "good" at their job.

Oh well at least the Blunts fucked it to doomed Norwich, you'd think Wilder had turned them into prime Barca this last week all the shit I've been reading. Oh and we're just the 16 points ahead of the Chimney pot fuckers too.

2 home wins and we still hit 50 at half way. Then January and time for DK to decide whether the lure of promotion is worth a financial punt. Forget Southampton thats a sound bumming

The way you talk about the ref helping opposition teams just takes any credibility you have away

It wasn't that bad/as bad as most are making out.
Their keeper was man of the match and kept them in it.
A very difficult surface in tricky conditions.
Still at no point did I really think we'd lose, but obviously given the circumstances it is very disappointing to not win that.

Its 2 games without a loss, its 6 games now playing poor. We've been poor since Blackburn but thankfully results have gone for us.

Lets just bring this back to reality here.

Last 6 games you're saying we've played poor?

That has covered 2 home games, and 4 away games.

Average position of those 4 away opponents: 4th

Points returned from those away games: 1.75

If we maintain 1.75 points for the rest of the season we go up automatically.

Feels to me like one of those games. Preston last ditch defending for most of the game and it paid off. Trying to remember the last team that pulled this off against us - but it can happen and you have to give them credit - they worked extremely hard for it.

On another night, Wright walks away with 2-3 goals. Taking him off when we could have had 2 up top seems a bit strange in retrospect, but I know he's coming back from injury.

Feels a bit like our luck has caught up with us a bit the last 2 games, where the scoreline has felt a touch unfair.

Easy to let frustration cloud judgement. It was one of those. Was bound to happen at some point, so take the point and move on. They celebrated like it was a win. We've been much the better side before the sending off and dominated after it. Final ball lacking and switched off for the goal. It happens. Nothing I saw tonight worries me really.

I’d have celebrated a defensive performance with 10 men like that tbf.

He is still adjusting to this level. But often looks like a League One player. Yes he has pace when he can chase a ball into space. But from a standing start with the ball at his feet he has none. No trick to beat the fullback. Too one footed has to come insde all the time whether it is the right option or not.

He doesn’t get some of the fouls he deserves, because his feet seem to get stuck under himself and his upper body gets ahead of him. He looks off balance and looks like he is going down before there is any contact.

Not convinced he is Championship quality let alone potential Premier League quality.
I think he's a Championship player, just not a top end one.
