Give JDS a break..he's been excellent this whole year. He's not gonna be 8/10 every week.JDS is weak; clearly not what we need if we are talking automatics. Along with midfield cover left back is the position most in need of attention. No matter how much JDS improves, it is from a low base and we need better.
That said, one of the neatest moments on Saturday was JDS, in a tight spot, hit a sweet little chip to Grimes over the legs of a Blackburn player to get out of jail. It was the action of a player full of confidence. He didn't just boot it up field (as I might have)

Anybody who thinks JDS is a good long term solution, no matter how much he has improved, needs to give their heads a wobble. We have three left backs, we aren't signing another any time soon.
Dasilva is by far the pick of the bunch (at the moment), and has been good this season.

Whilst I appreciate BTA's workmanship, he can't dribble. EMC leaves multiple defenders for dead numerous times a game
EMC is a much bigger threat as a LW. BTA has carved out a good role as a 2nd striker because he gets the ball centrally to fire off good shots. It's no surprise that nearly all of BTA's goals for us have come when playing 2 strikers.Once Rudoni is back I think BTA would be worth a run on the left side, he offers far more of a goal threat and assists than EMC.
And wouldn't lose his man every 5 minutes when defending.
Don't forget they beat Boro. Will be a very tough match. It will be tough game for sure, but we should be returning home with another three points. Sheff Wednesday won 2-0 at Fratton Park earlier in the season so going for a 3-1 win.
There security question is a bit shit as well. "Who did the assist to the goal scorer on our game that won promotion to the championship" it was Marlon PackCan’t get on to Portsmouth board without registering so fuck that
just spotted it myself today, they've got another one so I've added that, but there's no talk of our match, its all word games and F1Can’t get on to Portsmouth board without registering so fuck that
well done mate, you do a great job of this every year.just spotted it myself today, they've got another one so I've added that, but there's no talk of our match, its all word games and F1![]()
Side note but Lampard really doesn’t fancy Brau does he, hasn’t even been coming on when we’ve been 3/4-0 up.
I did this with the last ref and he actually wasn't totally shit for once but fuck me another split arse of a ref...

Really odd one. I can only think that he is not impressed at all with his defensive game in training, so doesn’t trust him to play left back in the league.Side note but Lampard really doesn’t fancy Brau does he, hasn’t even been coming on when we’ve been 3/4-0 up.
It's easy to not be a topic of conversation as it's all going extremely well, but it does feel like Lampard has some extremes in his relationships to players. It feels like he either absolutely loves you, or you're cannon fodder. Not much in-between.Really odd one. MR was similar to be fair. Who does he have a bad relationship with? There's no evidence he has a bad relationship with Brau at all. Bassette is the only one he clearly had an issue with, i'd suggest that's a Bassette problem given how close the rest of the squad seem. It's easy to not be a topic of conversation as it's all going extremely well, but it does feel like Lampard has some extremes in his relationships to players. Yeah fair shout on Kitching and Robins.MR was similar to be fair. Kitching got frozen out.
I have no idea whether any of this is true, but sometimes you're going to have to accept not everyone shares the same opinion as you. I know it's a difficult concept for you to grasp on here. But when listening to his interviews, my take from it is that generally speaking it's either an absolute glowing reference and you're the best thing since sliced bread, or it comes across frosty.Who does he have a bad relationship with? Its a very defensive response. Also ironic that you would put something up that doesn't have much substance and get annoyed when you get a response that doesn't share the opinion. Frank seems very close to the players imo, they play for each other and they play for him.Yeah fair shout on Kitching and Robins.

I really don't want to go a goal down with this clown on the whistle. We can expect a lot of time wasting and rolling around on the floor then if they go 1-0 up and him to fall for it hook line and sinker then
Yes that has encouraged me.Hadn't realised they'd only had one win in their last six. Need better than first half vs. Blackburn but I'm a bit more confident knowing their form isn't great.

At LW and even RW, BTA looks quite awkward imo.
