People buying those neck pillow things for flying. Conning themselves. An hour maximum into the flight it’s on the floor or in their bag because all it’s done is irritate them. You see some families walking through airports looking like buckaroo, with things to try and bring them optimal comfort and it’s all a waste of time and money.

That's because everyone wears them the wrong way round, so all they do is push your neck and upper-back forward so it is no longer supported by the seat. You are supposed to wear them with the wide part under your chin (to stop your head lolling forward), but no-one does, so no-one gets on with them!

I took an eight week mindfulness therapy course earlier this year. It's genuinely been a huge help and I definitely feel happier, less minded to hold grudges, and more optimistic.

However. No amount of mindfulness, no amount of therapy, will ever be able to abate or quell the searing, ethereal hatred I have for people who walk slowly side-by-side on a narrow path. If you branded the word HATE onto every atom in the known universe, it would not add to one one-billionth of the amount of hatred I have for them.

100% with you there about slow walkers with no awareness of how they're holding others up.

If I ever exceed 20 mph on my bicycle the song 'Breaking the Law' (the Motorhead version) starts playing in my mind. 🤭

This happens even in a 30mph zone as I imagine what might happen if I was in Wales.

I can relate to this when leaving the supermarket checkout & find myself behind someone slowly plodding along whilst reading their receipt 😡

It's the disbelief really either way,the look of disgust at the meager amount of food per tenner spent or the size/weight of said product for a set fee trying to hold the price,in all aspects it's a rip-off, may as well try that dog food as someone mentioned it in a tweet today,is that right .

Noticed this with watermelons. The ones you buy in the shop are very expensive for something about the size of your head. In Greece they cost far less and are about 3 times the size.

Weather related nonsense or something I'd imagine, the usual coverall if they even bother to make a statement?
Interesting enough our satnav went awol for a period this morning - just no idea where it was going and even close to home it was sending us on a seven mile detour with no apology

I like to use my satnav out of spite to see what it thinks is the best route and time and then I go a different way and do it quicker.

Basically the car's a prick, and it knows I think this which is why the lane correction and collision detection selectively kick in at awful times and give me the impression the car is actually trying to kill me.
