He is one of the best players in the championship, however he played Saturday and Tuesday, so at his age hes got to be feeling the pace a bit now, and a heavy pitch won't do him any favours.Whilst Bannan is a veteran decent championship player, he’s not exactly Pirlo
As long as one of them makes it we will be ok.Fitness test for torp / Eccles today.
Which suggest at worst, both should be back for Blackburn.
think Eccles will play / torp no
Yeah but some people get bent out of shape about itNice one apeeled to my sense of humour![]()
BTA needs to stay where he is. Wouldn't work as a 10 .As long as one of them makes it we will be ok.
Grimes will be fit so Allen can step in, or even BTA could play as a 10 and EMC could come back in on the left wing.
Plenty of options.
He was very off the pace on Wednesday. He's clearly not match sharp whether he was carrying a knock or not.think Eccles will play
Whilst Bannan is a veteran decent championship player, he’s not exactly Pirlo
Just on one leg, or all three?Has an abductor strain
Any other time Sakamoto has played in the 10 role, he's been shit.If EMC can play 70 minutes then Saka in the 10 isn't the worst shout. He presses well and can go wide in possession like Rudoni does so we're still playing to his strengths
That wasn’t the Championship![]()

Yes likely to be doing that after arriving in Sheffield. Breakfasts are very good value.Never underestimate the eagerness of a 'Spoons devotee!
The idea that a professional striker who can play as a CF AND has already played as a LW and RW this season, couldnt possibly play as a 10, is the most rediculous thing ive heard in ages.BTA needs to stay where he is. Wouldn't work as a 10 .

You say he should stay where he is, well where is he exactly??? Left wing? Right wing? Or up front?
If he stays on the left wing, do we leave a now fit EMC on the bench when his fresh legs would be desperately needed in our third game in 8 days?
I've got my opinion you've got yours. If that's the most ridiculous thing you've heard then you are leading a very sheltered life. The idea that a professional striker who can play as a CF AND has already played as a LW and RW this season, couldnt possibly play as a 10, is the most rediculous thing ive heard in ages.

I think we'd change formation before putting BTA, EMC or Sakamoto in that position personally. Hopefully it doesn't come to that and the injuries it looked like we picked up weren't anything to worry about.
I think Sheff Wed away last season was probably the last time we started 3-5-2?
Yeh we weren't good but Jeremy Beadle in goal handed us the 3 points.Yeah I vaguely remember we were up against it for quite a while in that game, but came through with 3 points? Good Dovin save as well maybe?

It's the little hand isn't itYeh we weren't good but Jeremy Beadle in goal handed us the 3 points.
Goalkeeper was a strange choice of career given that, but fair play to him i suppose. It's the little hand isn't it
Great news that. Was hoping the suspected injuries weren't serious.Fitness test for torp / Eccles today.

So as a 10 we're now just assuming Sakamoto can float out wide, create overloads, have close control in a packed middle, good link-up play and good delivery.Under Robins yes. The role was different, he was asked to stay central which didn't work
Look at Rudoni's heatmap. The 10 role under Lampard is much more about floating out wide and creating overloads. You need close control in a packed middle, good link-up play and good delivery - BTA has his strengths but he doesn't suit this

Hopefully Torp is fit and all of this is futile
First season down from the PL we were for a while. What’s the longest we’ve ever been top of the Championship?
Have we ever been top of the championship?
Great news that. Was hoping the suspected injuries weren't serious.
Still, if both are out tomorrow, it will need to be Grimes, Allen and Andrews in the middle, and surely a switch to 5-3-2.

Whenever he's tried to do any of that before, he was wank. Got bullied off the ball pretty much every time.
