That's a WOW from me. I could throw accurately just past the halfway line. Could throw it a bit further but all accuracy was lost. It was a big part of my game. We would leave someone just before the halfway line towards the right and he knew to run onto it. It would leave their players flatfooted.

I've never seen such a long, straight, accurate throw before. Perfect for when the pressure is on. Everyone left behind. 1v1 or even just the keeper to beat.

Exactly! How do we actually know any other keeper would be even better? Plus we’re gambling with the financial future of the club - I’d be surprised if we even start the season now.

The part i don't get is how many of us watched us in games where we dominated most of the possession and the opposition GK had a great game and we have 2 shots on target against us and 2 goals against but still think we need better strikers so we can score more goals than the opposition instead of bringing in someone to stop the constant soft goals.

If this does happen my prediction of 2nd to 4th this season is on. It's going to be a mental season. There will still be more ins and outs, but the quality of the players that have come in under Lampard so far fills me with confidence. We have a squad that's Championship experienced and know each other well. Clubs like Birmingham will have a side of strangers lacking Championship experience.

Not getting in a decent keeper would have be suicidal from an ambition point of view. Certain other clubs won't be standing still and we can't afford to have a clown throw points away forcing us to attempt catchup again.
Get this sorted and I think we'll be top 6 again but I'm not sure what that looks like yet. I'll do proper prediction at end of the window.

We still have nearly 3 weeks for things to happen. The one thing I would love to see is Rudoni still with us when the transfer window closes. He is the 1 player we wouldn't be able to replace.
