If you're arguing Simms is a better option up front than Tyrese Campbell then there's nowhere to go from here mate.
That’s not the argument at all and you’re smart enough to realise that. It’s also a completely pointless discussion because Tyrese Campbell won’t be leaving Sheff U as he’s contracted until 2027.
In any case, Tyrese Campbell has had a great year playing in a strong Sheff U team and scored a decent amount of goals. Considering that other posters (possibly included you) have said how bad Simms’ first season was with 13 league goals because he only scored in 9 games.
Yet this season, Campbell is being held up as a top end Championship striker who scored 10 goals in 10 games… It’s Campbell’s best career year and it’s still worse than Simms last season (23/24). In reality, his career stats to date haven’t been anything special and his record of a 1 in 5 striker is precisely what people say isn’t good enough for Simms (I agree it needs to be better, 100%).
There’s nothing wrong with pointing this out and people get upset because it doesn’t fit the narrative.
