A 6 each for me. Simms held it up well first half I thought.
Wright was a thorn in their side the whole game, if not for poor finishing

Simms did some excellent work with his back to goal, especially in the first half. His lack of technique cost him a couple of times when trying to get shots away, but I thought he did a good job for the team.

Wright's decision making was off, that's all.

Wright was a threat all game and I didn't think Simms was that bad. Just that BTA was so much better

Thought scoring Simms and Wright the same is harsh. Wright was a threat even if he did fuck up the end product. Simms was gash today.

Simms won 1 of 10 aerial duels 1 of 3 ground duels and had 14 touches with under a 60% pass completion.

Wright gets docked for his greed more than anything

I'm a Simms fan but thought he was frustrating today.

Middlesbrough are a weird team. They looked so disjointed at times and panicked everytime they got into our box. Seemed to stumble into goal opportunities

That wasn't dreadful decision making for what would have been the BTA chance though.

BTA was excellent when he came on, but he is useless at staying onside.

Wright couldn't pass to him for that brilliant opportunity, because BTA was very clearly offside

There were other chances though where Wright made the wrong call.

Not much, we’re 5th in the league and 4th over the last 20 games

I think we need an upgrade at CB and of the two Kitching is the one to drop out IMO.
