A great result and some good performances, am I being a little harsh on saying Wilson should have done better for their second goal?
I felt the same. The defending leading up to the second was terrible, but the shot wasn’t struck particularly hard and wasn’t directly into the corner. He looked like he got down for it in slow motion.

Its a good thing for a striker a lot of the time, but he seems to get in a right hump if everything isn’t perfect for him and always seems to have an arrogance well above his overall ability. The rumours last year about him and Vik say it all, and Saddlebrains rumours this season.
Wow

If today confirms anything, it’s that Simms needs to improve his finishing.
An old man who’s legs have gone showed him the way.
I expect/ hope another striker will join us this month, And any striker watching us today would relish playing here.
Bullshit totally different roles and opportunities

No one is turning on Godden. Just discussing him. He got two good goals. He’s our top scorer. That doesn’t make him perfect though. Chill out.
You called him a right prick and another said he had a shit attitude. That's not turning on him?

As for O'Hare having the temerity to score a penalty!

Atmosphere was weird full stop today. Hardly any player songs, although Fabio was one which was a nice touch after injury. Too busy singing ‘Oxford get battered’ and other mocking songs….they’re two leagues below us ffs 😂

I heard songs for every player to be fair.

They are 5th In League One.

I thought it was pretty quiet from mid first half onwards today. Understandable as it wasn’t much of a contest, just don’t really get the goading of a club in league below us

Farkinell.. SBT is known for weird takes but some people are having a fuckinblinder today.

Robins said that Godden wants more minutes. Robins pointed out that he’s had as many as the other two strikers. I don’t give a shiny shit if he didn’t do a keane cartwheel when he scored. He made a point to his manager by sticking in two clinical finishes.

And us trying to walk it in on occasion.
Plus how on earth they weren't down to 10 before half-time is anyone's guess. Ref felt sorry for them I assume.
The ref didn’t play the remaining injury time after their player was stretched off either.

Selfishly, I'm hoping for a good draw at home. I'm guessing people who went today will get priority if we get a good away draw.

Genuine question, but does a penalty scored boost a striker's confidence? Surely that's goals from open play, and penalties are just because you like scoring?
